Good morning, everyone!!! How are you today?

And Soul, it's beautiful here. We've put our snow boots and heavy coats up and are using light jackets/hoodies. Except for Mr. Smarties, it's still nipply enough for him that we have him wear his coat. Cool at night, just a little brisk during the day. FABOO!

(And yes, it was gorgeous here in late October, we were looking at pictures yesterday and it struck me again how absolutely stunningly beautiful and warm a certain late October day was.... thank goodness - because it sure wasn't the week before the wedding!)

We were watching an episode of Backyardigans last night and I mentioned how the "secret agent spy tool" looked an awful like the character had stolen his mother's cell phone. Lumus looked at me and said "giving the kid some ideas for the future?"

You're not the only one, Perse. I just get the biggest kick out of watching the Secret Agent episode, dancing along with it, singing - that show is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. Though I have to say, Lumus showed me an episode of Dilbert last night that had me laughing my ass off.... The one about the imaginary worker "Todd"!!!!!

Well, the tornado watch ended about 1am, and it will be rather cool today with high winds this afternoon.

they just had REALLY BAD bushfires, and i heard they had an earthquake in the last few days.

Ahh. . . it was more of a Wizard in Oz, kind of thing with the tornado. I think that the problem may be that she is NOT in Kansas.

Edited to add the "NOT" as leaving it out changes the entire meaning. I need MORE coffee.

Interesting. They were out in the Gippsland area, right where I lived. Thankfully, they weren't that big, only 4.6 on the Richter scale. Meh, in California, we'd barely feel those!
