trust me, gentle readers...this girl does NOT want to be lectured on her slaviness on top of the computer and the grumpy thing i dropped off this morning with a half raw pop tart and a scowl....

Now, rain, you know that someone owns that cat...you will get all attached and THEN the loser in 4 B will come down and knock and say....oh yeah, i wondered where that cat went....LAST WEEK....ill take it back now....he will be wearing an apron with "Kiss the Cook" and an arrow pointing down....and he will smell like meat and cheese....and you wont want to do it....sniffle.

I know, Perse, I know. I was just talking with Lumus about the fact that I'm trying, really trying, to not get attached to her. But she's warming up to the place and relaxing and I have the feeling that she's a good cat. Not quite as personable and loveable and goofy like Lardo de Retardo but then he's one of a kind. I think she would make a great addition to the family but I'm trying to not get my hopes up.

Just tell the loser in 4B you dont have the cat....thats what the mean mom across the street did when Milo escaped and got adopted. i would watch him sit in her window and i would ask for him back, and she would say...i dont have a cat....and i would point and scowl at the window and Milo would chuckle and stretch and hop down away....sniffle....

I'm tempted but I'm too honest. Besides, the superintendent of the building already called the Humane Society. I'm hoping they'll just let me keep her here, she's relaxing and getting used to us already. I'd hate for her to go through the trauma of being in a shelter, especially a high-kill one, if we can keep her here. Hell, I'll take her to my vet today to be checked out!
