ORIGINAL: KMsAngel mark mark mark... gotta be careful about those remarks about work. i was a stay at home mum for the first 3-4 years for each of my kids. important years in their lives. and i caught all sorts of hell, mostly from other women, about how THEY went out to work and I just stayed at home. WAY harder to look after active lil ones and keep them amused and educated and inculcate some morals, manners and ethics into them. at work, you can at least hide behind your computer for hours and you get PAID for it. at home you're generally poorer, degraded (by some, not all), sleepless, and sneered at. it is generally a thankless (as in no thank you's from anyone) job. my ex kept asking me when i was going to go out and get a real job. funny enough, he's having problems with his kid and day-care now that his current wife is working full time my kids, however, do remember to thank me every now and then WTF! I thought that the feminist movement was supposed to give us wimmins the right to CHOOSE whether or not we wanted to stay home or go to work. Bah! Since the other-half has been doing some part-time stuff at home, since he resigned from his job, he is rather enjoying it. In fact, he mentioned the other day that since I am making at least as much as he was at his job, maybe it would not be such a bad idea for him to keep this up. That way I will always be available for any travel with my job and be can be home to watch Butterhead. Your ex was a douche.
