i love taking my waffle iron to work. hardly any of them had had waffles before me. i'm sooooo good for my office, lol.

last time, i made chocolate waffles. i gotta wonder how many of them even DO homemade these days?

It is not cute at 3AM in the frigging morning.... especially since I havent been sleeping well lately.


Ya, I understand this one. Punky and Queenie have taken to running around at full speed all night and using the space on the bed next to our heads as a launching pad to leap up to the window sills. It wouldn't be that bad except Punky is now well over 15 pounds and Queenie isn't that far behind him. No snuggle kittehs there - just launched rockets zooming around....

Try .2 seconds.  It is already hard enough to get her to keep her shoes on.  I do not even try in the house.  Which of course SCANDALIZED my grandmother over the holidays.  *eye roll*  (Really, what was the point, she was not going outside, why should I take the time to be putting her shoes back on her every few seconds, it is not like my parents house was set to twenty-degrees-below-zero! ~ I know, I know, my cousin Tonja never lets HER kids run around without shoes.  Gag.  Puke.)

I did duct tape her to the floor once.  That took maybe too minutes for her to get out of.  I think she thought that it was some sort of game.  I was trying to get some work done!  Hrmph!

Aylee...the LO's Dr advised us to let him go barefoot whenever possible. And i had the same issue with him taking his shoes off, so i gave him an ankle bracelet (one of those Lance Armstrong type bracelets...but anything works). He was so busy playing with the bracelet that his shoes stayed on
