so...i gave the LoudOne a handful of vanilla wafer cookies this morning, then i went into the bathroom (mothers of toddlers should have the option of shutting down their kidney function for the next 15 years, damnit). When i came back into the living room i saw that he got his pudgy hands on the cookie box, emptied it onto the carpet and then proceeded (of course) to stomp on each cookie.

I was a wee bit annoyed. I made him sit on the sofa while i stomped off for the vacuum cleaner. When i came back i pointed to the mess and asked him "Just HOW am i going to clean this up?"

I was busy picking up the larger cookie peices when i heard him come up behind me. He put his tiny toy vacuum cleaner beside mine, looked me in the eye and sung the song from WonderPets to answer my "How am i going to clean this up" question....."What's it gonna take? Teamwork!!"

He earned a hug.

Don't you know that there is a certain amount of bacteria that needs to be on toddler food BEFORE they find it edible!
