ORIGINAL: Aylee I and Butterhead are doing well. I am a bit confused about the eating habits of males. I went out of town on business. . . I asked him over the phone if he had dinner. He replied that he had been "grazing" all day. No problem. I assumed he meant that he was eating the fresh fruit and broccoli and califlower and such. I get home, and wah-lah. . . that stuff is all there. Hmmm. . . what were you grazing on dear? Apparently "grazing" means eating two cans of black olives and a family-sized bag of bbq-potato chips. Just so you all know, there is a lot of healthy things to eat in my house. There is fresh fruits and veggies, and there is even microwavable stuff that is healthy. No one has to resort to bbq potato chips in lieu of a healthy meal. I may never understand the male mind. On the other hand, he makes sure that Butterhead has balanced meals. Why he does not do this for himself, I may never know. Oh dear Lord above...... Has he been talking nutrition with Lumus again? That is SOOOOOOOOOOOO something that Daddy would do. Dinner here before I showed up was often oven-heated chicken strips and a pop, or a bag of chips. There's a roasted chicken flavour chip here that He can eat by the bag. Or the dill pickle chips.....or the ketchup chips or any other of several flavours. you ladies can toss Jim into the mix as well. He will bypass the good stuff (fruits, proteins, etc) for the GOOOOOD stuff (chips w/dip, cookies, carrot cake) It's just the opposite with me and Pirate... I will happily eat a tin of Pringles while he will cook a decent healthy meal
