and on a completely unrelated subject...I just got back from shopping...someone explain to me why the $2.50 6 oz tube of MEN's hair remover...with the same ingredients....is marked $5.50 when it is in a tube painted pink and other pastel colors and called Nair instead of "razorless shave cream"??????

Actually, Lady H, my scooter gets me everywhere.....but had some problem with a tooth.....if I had a vise grip wrench, I wouldn't need to go to the dentist in the morning.....trust me, nothing was going to help the pain........still hasn't......

But if the fates are smiling, maybe I'll be in FL when the next road trip happens! It's off to Tallahassee on wednesday.....

Good morning, angel...now you have me jones-in for some Sesame Street....muahahaaaa

Morning to everyone else, its so hot here...and yesterday, sniffle, our A/C was out half the day....we didnt get chilly again until about 3 am.....but now, im in sweats and a robe and drinking hot cocoa....so dont worry, perse will perservere....

Morning all. It appears, extraordinarily enough, that we will not have rain today or tomorrow. Hard to believe as we've had it 45 out of the last 60, but that's the forecast.

If the water level ever drops I have to go crouch in the stream and start cleaning out the culvert. Which means with a shovel from both ends as culvert cleaning tools are wildly expensive and only owned by large municipalities. Not available for rent by homeowners, sigh.
