There are quite a few places to hide here, which is one of the reasons i started to let the LO go out "by himself" (i have my eyes glued to him, but am hiding around a corner). I thought it might be a good idea to know where he would go if one day he left the house without my knowledge.

Now that I have the little man residing in my home, and he feels the need to walk with me every evening as I walk the dog(who has a mind of his own as well) I get pulled in a number of directions....Earl(the dog) seems to want to go in any direction that Little Man doesn't wish to go!....and the Little man wishes to go EVERYWHERE and just as quickly as his legs can take him!....Me, I am stuck in the middle trying to keep them both in line and out of trouble but, neither leaves my sight for long!!!!!!....

Well. . . I thought that I would give you all an update on the groundhog. . . He has his modem back. The weather yesterday at his place was much worse than what we had. Lots of downed branches and such. Many homes and barns in the area lost roofs and/or tiles. There was even a hotel that had its roof collapse, trapping some folks for a while. There were about poles down and so no electricity for awhile, until he got the generator going. At the point that the trampoline went flying across the yard, he decided to take the family to the neighbors basement.

So. . . his corn was destroyed, but the house is fine, the electricity is back, but he has not figured out how to get the trapoline removed from the tree it landed in.

Of course, I did not hear about most of this until last night AFTER the storm had passed. He did refuse the offer of the family staying with us overnight, as they do have the generator.

So, all is well!
