That is a good idea as well.

Thanks to all for all the links.  I will be looking at the different ones.  I am also considering a bean bag for her.  We will just have to see.

the LoudOne will hoist the kiddie furniture onto the big couch...then get pissed when i won't let him sit in it (he did this with a little wee rocking chair and damn near gave me heart failure)

Oh I am sure of that.  But I still think that it would be nice for her to have it as she drags the couch cushions on the floor to sit and play on.  Plus it can travel with her when go out of town.

Yes!  I have had the same heart-attack.  She has a little plastic chair that I got really cheap, but it is very sturdy, and it was *interesting* to try and break her of putting it ON the couch to sit on.  She still tries to get away with using it as a step stool to get into things that she is not supposed to.
