I read the story to the other half while I was laughing and his only response was, "YOU didn't see the mess from the butt cream."

Butterhead got into a tube of diaper rash cream when she was supposed to be napping.  Everything in her room had to be laundered, mopped, and she needed a bath.  I snickered because I was out of town.

Status: offline 		my ex's babies ( i think they were 2 and 3 at the time)  had a field day with a 3 pound tub of butter one day while Sir was napping. i always called them "The Angels". He didn't seem to agree?

I wish

I'm about 90% sober by now.  Alas, my body metabolizes alcohol extremely fast.  *sigh*  This is why I don't go to bars.  Way too expensive for not enough.

1. Have a DD
2. Start drinking BEFORE you go.
3. Be cute and flirty enough someone else pays for your alcohol.
4. If currently Owned, be even more cute, but only slightly flirty...they'll still buy your drinks.
5. Always have a "bodyguard".



eta: #5 my bodyguard is typically my DD, but not always, so thought i should add that.

Status: offline 		Rule 1 is of most importance to me.  I have a very simple rule.  1 shot or the equivalent of alcohol, wait an hour, driving is okay.  2 or more, hand someone else the keys.  Period.  A few times I've gone into a bar and handed the bartender my keys and said "I'll come back tomorrow to get them.".  After all, a cab ride is WAY cheaper than life in a wheelchair, a stay in the hospital, a DUI or a funeral.

I don't worry about 4 or 5 personally, at all, as my pet doesn't drink, and doesn't tend to like being around people who are drinking, due to bad experiences in the past.  Thus I also don't tend to drink around him.  I'm as safe as possible when drinking, which is actually very rare, and the only person I could hurt is myself by falling down laughing at a word like "chair", (don't ask).  But, it makes him uncomfortable, so, I avoid it.  IF we did go out though, rest assured I would be sober and be the designated driver and bodyguard. :)
