No, there was other food there but I think we brought the main dish. Mainly I had seen veggies, cheese, desserts and other finger foods. Considering how much I brought, I thought there'd be some still when we got down from Lumus' desk area. Apparently not....

That's a good thing though, right? Means it was tasty? (I hope...)

Well, now that the rain has stopped, the weather is is sooooo nice! I can send out boxes of warm weather and sunshine for those who really need it! But we needed the rain, and it doesn't happen often, so I can live with it!

Well, I do hope that everyone had a Happy T-day!

Mine was okay. The food was good.

Sooo. . . the next day. . .

I finally figured out on Wednesday night , because of the commercials, why I was being bugged to do my shoe shopping THAT day. Ya see, in my mind, I was thinking, "we are NOT leaving until Saturday. I don't wanna do anything today, it can wait until Friday, SHEESH!"

I finally figured it out Wednesday night, and thought, "OH SHIT! THAT was why he kept going on about it. Crap. I am just going to have to bite the bullet and deal with it."

So. . . I head out on Friday afternoon. Actually, it was not too bad for me. After all, I was not looking for Christmas deals, I needed things like diapers. I also wanted a toddler dress for pictures. WTF? Why are all the winter dresses SLEEVELESS? It is WINTER!!!!! I found ONE, with sleeves. Well, at least I did not have to take the time to make a choice.

So, we get home. I have to take the doggies to be sheltered. I get that done.

Ooohhhh! There is more to this story, but they will have to wait until I am back from Chicago. They mostly involve killing my hisbad and the one stupid FUCK in WalMart that seemed to be clueless (here is a hint - the kid is about four or five. She is bored. She is overstimulated. You are pissy anyway. Do yourself a favor and either take yourselves home, or go to the food court, sit down, have a snack and a soda. Works wonders. FUCKTARD! Oh, and STOP talking to your daughter that way. Really, she should be more important that you two waiting around in an asile. Read a clock and decide on a meeting time and place for whomever you are waiting for. OR GET A BABYSITTER!" No. I do not have issues.

Remind me of the rest, sometime. You all have a great weekend. If you do not hear from me by Tuesday, I have likely been kidnapped by Polacks. Please send underware, soap, and deoderant. Thanks!

Hi Xian, good to see ya!

We had a big family bash, complete with card tables in another room for the younger ones.

For Thanksgiving, just fetch a turkey and make dressing, sweet potatoes, yams, mashed potatoes, etc. and invite some friends!

If you have issues, then so do I. You have no idea how this bothers me!! Stupid people who drag little ones out to the stores and then get pissed off when the child acts out. Crowds can scare a kid. Not only that, but the child probably needs a nap, a snack, a diaper change, or just a friggin' hug!!! But good ol mom and/or dad are too busy trying to save a few bucks on Black Friday to do anything but get angry at the little one.

THORNY!!!!!!!! I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving.

His Highness was up at 4:30...demanding to be sprung from his crib. Thus far he has requested a sippy of milk, and a peanut butter "sammitch".
I boiled fresh carrots last night and he has mentioned them twice so i suppose he will be munching a bowl full before long!

*nodnodnod* i'm with holly there. i HATE it when i go christmas shopping (have avoided it so far) and kids are whining and screaming and throwing tantrums and the parents give them lollies to shut up and soda pop and it just makes the situation worse. kids are like husbands, NEVER take them shopping!!

unless they're over 18, then they're beasts of burden. (and can usually be bribed with a cd or book)
