Punky and I just back from the vet. Monster kitteh is 6.58 kilos or 14.47 pounds for you Yanks. *grins* He has huge paws ("rabbit paws" according to the vet!) and is in excellent health. He's older than we thought, maybe 3-5 years old at least. And he's already neutered AND microchipped!! The vet will be notifying the registry about his abandoning and having his contact info switched over to me. The entire office was in love with Lardo and thought it was wonderful that he had found a home. The vet was impressed with Punky's condition and purrsonality, which as Bear, LH and S2S can attest, will win anyone over!

*sighs happily*

I lubs my kitteh!!

Thank you, ladies!!! I'm just happy and proud of Punky right now, being in such great shape. When the worst the doctor can say is "there's a little tartar on his teeth", well, heck, that can be said of most people! And to top it off, I thought he was going to be a basket-case when we got home and nope, he's cool as a cucumber and chillin' on the comfy chair. I think I was more stressed than he was.

(It could also have been the cost - this cat is going to be a million dollar cat when this is done!)
