holly, we just cancelled going to the Christmas party. My knee's hurting too much and the weather's simply too much as well. Traveling is a pain in the you-know-where right now. ~~~~~~~>

Status: offline 		Morning, all.  I woke up to inches more of what my MIL calls "white shit".  She lived in a little town in the mountains most of her life & hated the snow!! 

I'd like to petition Potty for some of Perse's implements if I survive today.  I'm considering going in to work in this stuff my own self.

Status: offline 		Oh, allright if you insist, Holly.  But I did have other plans!!!  The guy across the way came home about half an hour ago & his canopy is all covered already.  I have a feeling that the mall will be closing early & I won't have to go in anyway.

It really is beautiful though.  I love the snow.  Even when I was driving truck, I would get thrilled at the sight of it.  When my daughter was growing up, there was a house rule that I was not to be awakened unless the house was on fire & it was approaching my bed or someone was standing over me with a knife.  The only exception to that rule was if it was snowing.  Then she was required to wake me up & we would go out & play in it.

It's causing some disruptions in our plans and schedules however, pretty as it is. Not quite sure how many inches have fallen today on top of everything from yesterday. And supposedly we're due for more tomorrow. And more this week! Some how though, "Let it shit, let it shit, let it shit" doesn't sound the same!

OMFG!  That is toooooo funny!!  I'm calling the MIL & telling her this.  At the end of her life she is now a "Mossback" which is what the mountain people call the folks around the Seattle area.  I was also called a "Flatlander".

Status: offline 		  Glad you like it, it just came to mind.... As for mountain people, I used to go the mountains all the time and was welcomed there. I was told a number of times that I would be welcomed to live there but, ummm, the now ex would have to stay in the valley!  *snorts* I should have listened to them!

  (Of course, then I wouldn't be here so it's a GOOD thing I didn't!)

We are we are we truly are!  But at least I don't have to brave the mondo big mall.  I just have to go to the smallish shopping center.

On Thursday I attempted to go to the Target near the mondo mall.  At 5:15.  While the university was letting out, and all the companies on that route.  It took 45 minutes to get there, just reminded me of California.
