I do not think that it is going to be feasible for me to go to Florida for the wedding.  Although, of course they both have my best wishes!

Warm houses are the BEST!

My parents keep their house FAR too cold for me.    But that is okay, I solved the problem by buying a couple space heaters. . . One for the den and one for our bedroom.  That made me MUCH happier!

Greedylicious, are you paying your rent to an escrow account?  And have you notified the water slacker (in writing, preferally registered mail) as to why he's getting a pecuniary smackdown??

Sometimes the legal ones take a dim view of such a smackdown.

Status: offline 		Nope.  I didint know anything about doing that until just a couple of weeks ago (Mom told me).  Landlord hasnt said anything about it.  We dont have a lease, it's strictly a handshake agreement.  He's also my boss, so I have some protection there.  He's not going to evict me because he knows if he does I am SO outta FL.   He's lose the only person he's hired for the desk who is stupid enough to work for him for as little as he pays and does as good a job as I do.

Also, he's in deep shit with the city/county right now anyway (the house he owns next door, that he HAD been renting has gotten 21 (TWENTYONE!!!!) code violations.... he doesnt wanna press issues right now...

Status: offline 		Pers... we're on a well.. the filters need to be changed in the pumping system.  My water smells like rotten eggs. And has done for MONTHS.  The only thing I use it for now is showering, toilet, and washing dishes (which kinda squicks me).
