Morning Bella, I quite agree with Orion. Not once have I personally, seen you ever dress down a Gorean man or woman. When I first came to CM, it was Orion who had first caught my eye, meaning, my respect and admiration, Him and Thadius to be exact, they were the first men here whom I felt taught me extremely important facets of Gor and living a life within it's truest form of structure, philos, moralities and tenets. Thru the yrs, there has been others I came to feel the same way about, sadly, not as many as I had hoped, but I had found it was not the quantity that mattered. The quality of those who have taught me, by both easy and hard ways...lol..is truly what matters and counts the most. Leonidas was another though through him I found myself hit with the harder of ways...lol...I say that in a good way, actually, though of course at the time, it did not feel as a good thing to me.(chuckles) You Bella, are among the type of people I had made mention of in another thread, when I simply stated that, when a person who has made mistakes and even at times, made poor choices, can and does earnestly learn from those mistakes and choices, with grace and then moves ever onward and *upward* that shows me that they are truly a person of good nature and quality. arturas, is none of those, he stamps out tantrums if you noticed, when people come at him with questions of importance and of accountability, then will attempt to turn the focus yet again from himself, by trying to belittle and insult another. his co-offender works in the very same fashion. quote:
It's easy to see why it gets a bad name when you look at this thread - men like you are quiet, secure in who they are, while men like Arturas have to go around proclaiming their "Goreanness" for all to see. I find myself disagreeing with you here a bit. I feel this thread serves as a perfect example to new comers, it shows them the difference between a Gorean(man of good and solid foundation and quality) as Orion Over a game playing braggard who obviously has no true sense or knowledge of what being Gorean sincerely is and entails. Anyways, I suppose I have witten a sufficiantly sized novel for now....lol Please take care, Maah P.S. I feel I would be doing a major injustice by not making mention, the Hup/Ron too was and is among these men I respect...lol..though admittedly at first and even now at times, I find myself scratching my head after reading one of his posts....*chuckles*
