I do not believe Bella has ever stated she is a Gorean, but she seems to have a better grasp of the philosophy and morality than you do. I have not read Bella dress down a Gorean in the Gorean Lifestyle area, has anyone else?

Hi Orion,

Not for a couple years, at least

Thank you for the compliment. I have learned a lot about the Gorean lifestyle since discovering it, and the more I learn, the more respect I have for it. It's easy to see why it gets a bad name when you look at this thread - men like you are quiet, secure in who they are, while men like Arturas have to go around proclaiming their "Goreanness" for all to see.

Though I will say, not all men can be Tarls. Arturas would be more like that overseer of the mines in Outlaw, except rather than being unwilling to risk his life to reclaim his honor and manhood, he's simply unwilling to risk his cute young thing walking. And just like that overseer, his unwillingness to take that risk is likely going to cause him to lose the thing he thinks he's safeguarding.

I wish you well,

Bella

Morning Bella,

I quite agree with Orion. Not once have I personally, seen you ever dress down a Gorean man or woman.

When I first came to CM, it was Orion who had first caught my eye, meaning, my respect and admiration, Him and Thadius to be exact, they were the first men here whom I felt taught me extremely important facets of Gor and living a life within it's truest form of structure, philos, moralities and tenets.

Thru the yrs, there has been others I came to feel the same way about, sadly, not as many as I had hoped, but I had found it was not the quantity that mattered.

The quality of those who have taught me, by both easy and hard ways...lol..is truly what matters and counts the most.
Leonidas was another though through him I found myself hit with the harder of ways...lol...I say that in a good way, actually, though  of course at the time, it did not feel as a good thing to me.(chuckles)

You Bella, are among the type of people I had made mention of in another thread, when I simply stated that, when a person who has made mistakes and even at times, made poor choices, can and does earnestly learn from those mistakes and choices, with grace and then moves ever onward and *upward* that shows me that they are truly a person of good nature and quality.

arturas, is none of those, he stamps out tantrums if you noticed, when people come at him with questions of importance and of accountability, then will attempt to turn the focus yet again from himself, by trying to belittle and insult another.
his co-offender works in the very same fashion.

I find myself disagreeing with you here a bit.
I feel this thread serves as a perfect example to new comers, it shows them the difference between a Gorean(man of good and solid foundation and quality) as Orion
Over a game playing braggard who obviously has no true sense or knowledge of what being Gorean sincerely is and entails.

Anyways, I suppose I have witten a sufficiantly sized novel for now....lol

Please take care,
Maah

P.S. I feel I would be doing a major injustice by not making mention, the Hup/Ron too was and is among these men I respect...lol..though admittedly at first and even now at times, I find myself scratching my head after reading one of his posts....*chuckles*

Tal and greetings all....

I don't know if I am the "Big M" referred to or not. I don't remember talking to him...or being talked to by him a year ago. I think I would rather be the Mysterious Master M rather than the Big M.

Maybe the Maliciously Maladroit Mysteriously Masterful Mendicant Master M would be even better?

Yes, I know what all those words mean. <grins> Send me money or I will alliterate again!

Be well all....

Malkinius

  • Saying I'm a liar without substantial proof makes Orion and others liars.
  • The "revelation" I have a year old, never used, quick, one time, posting on a Gorean website is no matter to anything, even if the birthdate is wrong.

You posted a fully filled-out Personals ad in which you lied about your age and year of birth. From this it can be observed that you lack integrity. From your argument that it is all of no matter to anything, it can be observed that you do not comprehend honor. And from your denial of the existence of proof of your lies, it can be observed that you are too much of a coward to face the truth.

There aren't many prizes left to go for.

I've hesitated to bring this back into the spotlight, but it continues to bug me. I would prefer simply to have observed that you lack the courage to face the truth. Not much better, I admit. But it allows for hope.
