Do tell - Does David D get tied up? I sure hope so.

Saw it today. Had low expectations. Worse than expected. It was gross, morose, and plodding.

Mulder gets beat up and nearly dismembered.

There's caging, kidnapping, and sadism -- but its not sexy.

lol yes, though that was at a pretty disturbing part, too disturbing to get excited lol

I really liked it, though i am an X-files fan. I knew pretty early on what the plot was, i had seen a TV show about that subject matter (well part of the show was about it) but I was still a bit surprising for me, real surprising for even else i was with and I would absolutely recommend it

According to me, it sucked. Knowing what I know now, if my options were "The Black Knight, again, again." or "X-Files: I Want To Believe" I'd see Batman.

The whole thing felt like a fan movie, a 1.5 hour episode.

Spoilers:

Slow to start, and rarely interesting, the only X-Filesy thing was the head switching. The psychic 'phenomena' was so trodden by actors I wasn't given a chance to doubt it myself. All my doubts were provided. I didn't feel any connection to the characters who received harm. One was a cold FBI agent, one was an FBI agent we never met.

I watched it with an X-Files fanatic. He felt the same. (I'm a small time fan).

I'd rather watch the producers jack off for a few hours and show a clip of them pissing on my ten dollars. At least then I they would have been honest.

Lucy, I'm very happy you want to see in even after my 'review'. If you see both movies on one night, save Batman for dessert. =)

Ooo *another* Xfiles movie.

I was so the XFiles geek at school.  In true pseudo-aspie style, I knew the name of every episode, plot synopsis...  Thank god the show got boring somewhere in season 5 or 6, or I'd have been seriously using otherwise useful brain capacity.

I do remember spending well over a year convincing my parents that the show was suitable for my 12 year old self to watch, and I should watch it.  It got to the point where I'd video the episode, and then watch it before school the following morning.  Twue fans wake up at 4, see.

I started with the books, and the fan books, and they're all in the attic.  Okay, I admit my geeky credentials, I should go hide somewhere now.
