Not sure if this is the right forum for this, and if it isn't I apologise. But I was wondering if anyone knew of a recipie for some sort of slave gruel.
Something that would keep a sub alive and reletively healthy, yet be totally bland and mush like.
Any ideas anyone?

How about looking up a recipe for much, or some kind of fortified cereal. You can always add supliments, and vitamins to it.

edited to add, upon further reflection (ok...just an afterthought, smiles)

anything can be much like, when run through a blender. Or food processor. How about nothing but baby food?

All it really was is porridge just rolled oats and boiled water to make it so that more healthy vitamins and supplements would have to be added.
Type Gruel into Google and you will find other forms of it thereor healthy ones as well.

Porrige and cereal is a good bland taste, and you can always use food colourings. But by the sound of your post, it sounds like your after something to use as only that and nothing else?

Remember that the person on these meals will have drastic stool and urine changes even if its just the weekend.
I would also advise it to occur over time. Don't change a persons diet overnight, it can fuck the body over, especially if done 'cold turkey'.
Baby food is very tasty, lol, and may defeat the point - but it also doesnt have the right vitamins and minerals for an adult, so again, not for continuous usage.

Its ok for a scene, or on a semi regular basis, but not good for permenant use. And remember LOTS of fluids/water. Remember that some cerals have salt added. I am really hoping you don't want this for a permenant way for a sub/slave to eat.

Peace and Rapture

I have used oatmeal and it has seemed to work well.
You could always do stale bread with water. You should also make them take vitamin packets. Or made them drink gatorade instead of water.

Well, you could add gatorade as a "sometime" sort of thing, specifically for the electrolytes, but make sure they drink at least as much water as gatorade.

And I'll have to join with darkangel in strongly suggesting that this not be considered as a permanent source of nutrition.

No, it wouldn't be permenent. It isn't even for my own use at the moment...more just curiosity. If I were to use it, it would be more of a discipline thing. "You're on nothing but slave gruel for a week for breaking that window!" lol.
But it has always been a tool I have wanted to follow up on, and never had. So while it was on my mind I thought I would ask here.
Most replies I have gotten about this have involved oats and stuff. But being totally ignorent about nutrition and the like, I was hoping to find a complete receipe somewhere that I could use if ever the situation really arose.
Plus I was curious to find out if anyone had ever actually gone ahead and done this!

Gruel (medieval) was traditionally barley and milk - so the oatmeal is a more nutritional formula...Its traditionally runny, not thick as porrige.

Gruel for a week will play havoc on the bowels and should not be held to for a whole week. Not if the stomach is used to solid foods. This is from a french 14thC source.(Gruyau)

2 cups cooked barley, mashed
8 cups Almond Milk
2 Tbs. sugar
½ tsp. salt

Bring the Almond Milk to a boil; add the barley, stir well, and return to boil, stirring to prevent sticking. Immediately reduce heat to a simmer, and stir in the sugar and salt. Continue simmering for several minutes, stirring occasionally, until the barley and milk have thoroughly cooked together. The final product should be only slightly thick. Serve immediately, or run through a food processor for a smooth consistency, in order to "grind it and strain it." Serves 4.

Do not use if the person eating is either asthmatic or allergic to nuts and nut oil.

Peace and Love

A commonly written-about gruel is the slave gruel of the Gor novels. This gruel specifies that it is made of a grain which loosely translates to wheat, so I am including a recipe for wheat (flour) gruel. Informationally, this gruel typically includes scraps of meat or fish; chopped, cooked vegetables; and is often served with raw fruit. For those without wheat allergies, wheat gruel has less of a laxative effect than oat or barley gruel. To increase the fiber, wheat germ or wheat bran can be added, but unless handled cautiously, that will elicit a return to the problems of digestive-system trauma.

Wheat (Flour) Gruel

1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt (optional)
1/2 cup cold water
4-6 cups boiling water

Stir together the flour and the salt. Gradually add cold water, stirring constantly, to make a moderately thick paste. Pour boiling water over the wheat-flour paste, stirring with a wire wisk until the desired texture is reached. At this point, if meat/fish/vegetables are to be added, add them. Simmer for 5 minutes, adding boiling water as necessary to keep the desired texture.

Bon apetit

This isn't exactly gruel but...

I like a combination of healthy, balanced ingredients run through the blender. <Or VitaMix.> Does it look, smell or taste disgusting?

Too bad.

As long as my "pet" stays healthy, I'm happy.

How about mixing cream of wheat and oatmeal?

TVP.
It's a meat sub, and bland. It looks bad and for a non veggie person leaves a prosessed flavor in the mouth.

If you wish to be nice, add a hint of hickory smoke, Also the vitamins that are needed to be added for a well rounded body that is going vegan, about the same as gruel, are on your local vegan site.

It keeps in dry form almost forever.
add hot water sprinkle with vitamins and you have quick, bland, stuff that good for yeah, so I am told.

Now off to make steak and eggs.

dear night
there's rations; military surplus; bot ,by the box, in sportsman guide.
then ,for me ;there's anything she feels like stepping on ,and, i gotta tellya jeffers has some great horse vit c. vats but mafia don retired angulo ,over 30 yrs ago ,in nahant,ma.on the beech was said ,to have owned a slave girl chained ,to his fireplace ,and ,fed her dogfood, of course she died, cause there's pot ash ,in it, and the irishman who told me while we constantly cruised the area ,around his place ,and, scenic nahant penninsula said he was stupid, and, i was thinking of how many people owned slaves and were stupid, and ,lived the lifestyle, and ,humans can't do it potash;it, maybe, removed ,FROM the dogfood ,now, but, WHO KNEW?!.... remember, for your own self ,that :horse pain salve rub is available, in tac shops but is used ,for a 2000 pound horse, not a human ,so ,altho you feel like a stable animal; you cant use it or youd die instantly due,to overdose( potentcy), so be careful, but ,dont worry; slaves are hardy ;depending ,on age; weight; heredity, but ,remember the geneeva-convention, and ,never, forget, to give the clean water, on some regular basis,
when i think of saying this stuff ,to my community i have to keep ,in mind the pimps, out there looking ,for tips and how they are doing auful garbage, in human trafficking, and ,i recall a full figured woman; who, only ate crakers (not allowed anyting else and handed him the money and he'd rape her,IN RETURN ;I ACCOMPANIED HER TO ATTY LIBBY IN NEWMEXICO)and a model who only ate an orange a month ,so how healthy is your live stalk;(slave?)it's like comparing cows, in mexico, to american livestalk ;one is poorly fed ,and, neglected ,and, the, other valuble ,and, admired.

I agree with the others, you don't want to do this for a long period of time. And nutrition is very important.

Why not run some "total" cereal (with or without raisons) through a blender. Or just leave as whole flakes. Or other cereal that is fortified.

Soak with milk so its nice and soggy..... YUCK....

And down the hatch.....
you would get your nutrition in the cereal. Milk for calcuium.....
But not very appealing.

BUT AS FAR AS TAKING A VITAMIN ON THE SIDE..... SHOLDN'T EVERYONE BE DOING THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE. NOT JUST SUBS ON YUCKY DIETS........

My Mistress/Wife feeds me instant oatmeal but instead of adding water to it she uses her own pee in it.

Hmm.  I've put myself on various nutritional mixtures when trying to accomplish a specific body recomposition goal; it's a fairly standard thing for folks who are into bodybuilding/weight lifting.  Some of them might fit the bill for you.

Protein powder (buy it at your local health food store) plus raw oats and flax meal with a scoop of yogurt or cottage cheese is one of my pre-workout staples. That is a very balanced meal that provides protein, low glycemic index carbs and fiber.   If you don't add flavoring, it's quite bland.  I tend to spice it up with Splenda and cinnamon, and maybe a sprinkling of berries if there are any handy.  I may also add nuts for fat content if it's not a pre-workout meal or an immediately post-workout meal.

I have also been known to partake of the infamous "tuna shake" before bedtime, which involves a can of tuna, olive oil, and some combination of raw oats, dehydrated nutritional vegetable powder (like Green Magma), cottage cheese, milk and tomato juice or V-8.  I also did the raw eggs, protein powder and cream thing for awhile when I was doing Vince Gironda inspired training.  Not as an exclusive diet though; that wouldn't be anywhere near complete nutrition.  Any good bodybuilding diet also tends to involve a metric fuckton of vegetables and lean protein, either chicken breast or tuna.  Also a daily multivitamin, and probably additional supplements.  For your purposes, stick to the daily multivitamin and never mind the extra supplements, your subbie probably doesn't lift weights and won't need any creatine or L-carnitine or glutamine.

Drinking some of your meals can be easier than eating them when you're doing five or six small and meticulously planned (and blah tasting) meals a day, so the blender is my friend.  Food isn't really food any more when you're totally focused on what the food is supposed to be accomplishing rather than what it tastes like, so bodybuilders are infamous for partaking of stuff that basically fits the description of  "slave gruel".  Whatever gets the job done optimally and keeps the body at peak performance is what we put in our faces, and taste doesn't really enter the equation.

Using some kind of healthy whole grain cooked cereal for slave gruel would be fine, but include protein powder in the mix for optimal health.  There should also be some source of healthy fats with at least some of the meals.  A few teaspoons of olive oil will do the trick.  You can always look to the bodybuilding boards for more useful recipes on getting a healthy meal down in bland tasting gruel form.  You will get plenty of advice and suggestions if you simply ask the question without mentioning what it is for.  Everyone will assume that you're just another bodybuilder who is sick of drinking protein shakes and just wants something bland to get quickly down the hatch.  It's actually a pretty common question and a popular subject of discussion.
