Interesting Kirata. When I look at the books I see them broken into different sections myself but my sections are different to yours. 1) The story, usually some sort of moral but also a good science fiction story. The good guys win the bad guys loose, the oldest and best type one that feels “right” to most people. 2) Caricature, I suspect this is related to 1 as it’s easier to show morals when you have extremes, the foolish, the brave, the foolhardy, the cautious, the bitch, the kind to strangers, the slut, the virgin. 3) The battle between the sexes, and the differences between the sexes shown through master slave relationships. 4) The philosophy, usually this is contained in monologues contrasting how Gorean’s think and how Earth people think, there are times however when it is mentioned that both Earth and Gor are wrong and that you should seek some type of balance between the two. You have to take into account that there are caricatures and sarcasm within them and they are extremely broad generalisations designed to make you think and reassess. 5) Master slave moralities. 6) The problems of an unreliable narrator. 7) The customs and practices of the different places on Gor, the laws and society of an alien world and its opposing forces used as a backdrop to illustrate the morals and philosophy not necessarily to illustrate the right way.
