ORIGINAL: Wardandjune This is june. We have been away and during this time, our account disappeared. While catching up with this thread, I was amazed to find pages of assumptions that were initiated after people read Ward's post. The relationship we share is 10 years strong and the presumptions that were placed upon it by those few sentences are amusing to say the least, although I am happy to see that it provided fodder for those who tend to jump to conclusions regarding two people they know absolutely nothing about. The following quote from Bull is the type of assumption that is not only completely off base, but quite ludicrous. "The man I discussed in the OP fears the loss of his slave more so than anything else. I would wager you this." Ward was basically thanking people on this thread for increasing his thoughts about my welfare should something happen to him. His quirky comments about "kicking and licking" were built into an incredible array of misguided and negative thoughts about his honor, our relationship, and were bandied about by those who apparently have the wherewithal to complete a psychological profile on the writer as well as his relationships. Sadly, the hope that someone would write their thoughts about after-death care of their slave(s) was never fulfilled. Only negative comments were forthcoming and it reminds me of why I seldom write in these forums. And lest you think he is "pussywhipped" for having me respond to this post.........hmmm...actually....think what you will :) *I would like to thank hopeless for actually getting the gist of Ward's post. Isn't it interesting that she was able to see a deeper meaning than those who are older and "wiser." june hello june. perhaps it was difficult to find in the midst of all the negative postings, but some did actually write about the care of a slave after the Master's death. i shared the fact that my Master has arranged for me to be willed to another Dominant in the case of his passing before me, because he cares for me so and wishes for me to go on with this life even if it must be without him, but he is also aware that i would never be capable of living an independent life (nor would he desire such a thing). it is a thoughtful Master who makes such arrangements for his slave and thinks of the welfare of his property when he will no longer be there to lead, control and provide.
