OK then! With that link corrected:

For those new to Gor or this forum, these threads address Frequently Asked Questions:

For those wishing to learn about Gor

Everything you wanted to know about Goreans, but were afraid to ask
The Newcomer

Those with some Gor experience/knowledge might be interested in these:
What is beyond the simple definition of "What is this Gor stuff all about?"
Honor, Code, and your Life.

You can also find a host of discussions on specific points--in the upper right hand corner is a "search" link. Click it, and you'll see you can make it specific to the Gorean board, as well as narrow your search to Topics only and in a variety of other ways.

For example, here’s a collection of links on the subject of Home Stone:
Home Stone question threads

Some other threads you might find useful:

Here is a link to a list of the Gor books
Where can I find the Gor books?

Silk and Steel also has a good introductory thread:
"WHAT IS GOR: THE FUNDAMENTAL BASICS"

Lots of people have questions about how slaves are considered livestock in the books. This thread discusses that issue:
Livestock, Gor, BDSM, Vanilla, and Reading the Books,

Here too are collections of links addressing commonly repeated questions:
BDSM vs. Gor.
Gor and love
For the girl seeking a Gorean Master.

People have also suggested these web sites:

Gorean Live Networks
House of Malkinius
Fogaban
Luther's Gorean Educational Scrolls
Gorean Public Boards (requires log-in)
Chronicles of Gor (Simon’s site)

Enjoy, and welcome to the Gorean forum!

Hello Camerius,

Yes, I recently discovered that geocities is no more... so the Gorean Falls site is gone. I have been able to find some of the essays and have begun posting them in a new blog here:

http://dangrus.blogspot.com/

The Gorean Falls Group in Yahoo still exists and holds a tremendous amount of archived history for those inclined to read.

Wish you most well,

~Dangrus

Greetings All

www.alibris.com is another great place to find the books. Look for a seller called King Crab Books, they tend to have copies which are in excellent condition and are sold for $6-9. They are also very reliable and ship very quickly.

I wish you all well,

Zeph

Another used book site, usually has some of the Gor books, and, better part, the owner is a Gorean.

Greetings Tim,

The prices I quoted are for used copies but it's possible to buy the books new as well. The average price is $8-22. I love buying from them and  service is very fast and reliable.

I wish you well,

Zeph

Edited to correct prices

John,

A used book store owned by a Gorean--now that sounds interesting.

Do you know the guy, get talking, or just know that he's a Gorean?

Back when I still had a room in cm, he wandered in one night.  We spoke for about an hour, and in the course of that I learned of his store.  Seems to always have a good and interesting collection, including some of Dr Lange's work.  Good conversationalist as well, sort of hoped that more would come in that night, but neither you nor Anarrus showed up that night.

Sorry I missed that, John. I'm sure Anarrus is as well.

Heard from him lately? We were going to get together. Maybe I should give him a call.

Live well,

Tim

~FR~

Any thoughts what to do with these "where to find the books" suggestions in terms of organization?

Ideally, I guess, they could be copied to the "Where to find the books" thread, essentially updating that link.

Live well,

Tim
