First off I wouldn't say a girl doing a guy with a strap-on or homosexuality has anything to do with gender-bending (though it has a lot of connotations to do with power). Most bottom gays don't cross-dress or anything, and a lot are actually very masculine (look at the Old Guard, where a lot of Subs got around on motorbikes), sissymaidlola touched on this difference. I remember asking a "queeny" gay guy why he acted like that and he told me it was just so that everyone would know he was gay and that it wasn't part of his personality past that. Most lesbian tops don't masculate themselves past a certain point, usually just enough to declare to the world that they're different. A pro Domme I was talking to the other week told me that most cross-dressers just wanted to look at themselves in the mirror and not have strap-on or any other play, and that the strap-on guys were much more likely to be into "mainstream BDSM" than cross-dressing.

Like for example the whole rubber fetish thing, I would say that CD is a fetish and a separate thing from being dominant or submissive. There are even quite a few TV/TS Dommes around. If your submitting to a woman in the first place, how can it be submissive to dress up as one? This is probably the reason why there is such a high ration of CD's to women into it.

Either you're getting all the wrong people contacting you or it happens to be the way things are at the moment - perhaps its a result of social conditioning that many men find submitting in a feminine form preferable...? Either way, if there are a lot of male subs who enjoy feminisation contacting you, then that's the way it is.

I find a problem with the idea that most men seem to want a woman to be bisexual. I'm not bisexual, and won't pretend to be something which doesn't come naturally to me; if we would have got on, it's their loss!

Its not easy to find people if you want the right person, not just anyone, so I think that sadly its a matter of patience, and to keep trying!

Ps.Not all the activities you mentioned are necessarily anything to do with feminisation. Strap on play for example, might be about humiliation (could be about masculinisation of the Domme rather than feminisation of the sub) or simply control and physical sensation.

Feminization is of zero interest to me. At one point I remember asking something similar from the other side, asking why every woman I kept running into was interested in feminizing me.

I guess these sorts of things run their course every now and then. I haven't come across a single woman in a long time that is into feminization, and I've been pretty happy about that. Now, if I could just find a local woman interested in something more specific, like me, I'd be even happier.

If it was not a social taboo, I would say at least 65% of all men would wear women's clothes. It feels better and looks better. Since it is a taboo however, there comes a certain power from doing something against society's conventions. Then, as the male analyzes the conventions and realizes that the clothes he desires are supposed to be related to inferiority(in the long run) he himself believes he is inferior. I wear the clothes due to comfort and the fact they feel good. If they felt bad, I wouldn't wear them.

Overall, can chock it up with society and continued patriarchal aspect of it. Males been the dominants of society for so long, comprising nearly all of the rulers, leaders, religious figures, money makers, soldiers, and so on while women were stuck in homes, taking careof children, raped, bondaged by ridiculous limiting clothing, denied power, killed and burned for being witches usually because they question the males or express any strength and independence of their own not bowing down..... Due to this, despite the individual reasons, unfortunatly this so ingrained in society and especially males that they just see women as submissives, weak, servants, home wives...so as part of their need to be dominated and expressing their submissive sides, they use this view of women to achieve it, especially when a women for so long oppressed and put down by males, are now the dominant one, so creating this sense of being even lower than women.

Just weird and yes some may consider alot of feminist nonsense, but it is a huge factor for why there is so many "sissies" and gender benders among male submissives. If society was more equal between the genders for decades and centuries, probably see much less of that.

First of all, to everyone reading this thread, majority of transsexuals prefer and do not associate with crossdressers, transvestites and "sissies", mainly because they are not one nor is their gender and being themselves a fetish or some sexual fun. So they dislike, like myself, against being lumped in with them.

Also, one that initiated the Stonewall Riots was a transsexual, not some drag queen or transvestite. Do your damn research. Like then, transsexuals comprise good many of the activists fighting for protection the human rights of transfolks. Despite higher numbers than transsexuals, Cd/Tv/Drags comprise very small percentage of those actively fighting, mainly because many of their still have their priveledge life to switch back too.

Most of My female Dominant friends agree that it really does nothing for them and they pretty much engage in feminization with male subs just to appease the sub.

I'm TS, and I DETEST that there is so much ignorance around that confuses me with a guy who wears frilly dresses every now and then. Most of the time its innocent of course - there are so many people around who have just never had the interest or opportunity to find out about it, and thats OK; we do our best to educate. But when its WILFUL or just plain LAZY confusion of TS with TV, it really pisses me off. And you dont want to piss me off, believe me.

Now I've nothing against crossdressers, just as I've nothing against people who have a foot fetish. But to confuse TS with TV is the same as confusing abuse with bdsm - yes, it looks the same in many ways, but its totally different.

Perhaps they think that the traditional society power roles are for males to be dominant and females to be submissive. They are combining playing different power roles with different gender roles.

Some other comments: anal play can be pleasurable for physical reasons regardless of whether you are into gender-bending.

Cross-Dressing can be very different from the above two or can be combined.

Personally, I'm attracting to strap-on play, but don't care for cross-dressing.
