I thought that perhaps we could try writing  Haiku's that pertain to Gor or the forums or whatever, just to see what we come up with.

A haiku is consists, in this exercise of a 5,7,5 syllable metric lines... they do not need to rhyme, but should contain a complete idea or image...

Have fun...

The Morning dawns bright,
The evening pounds in my skull
Where is my damn mead?

Olaf

Tal Olaf,

I used to love haiku's in elementary.

The morning is calm,
My tea is to be served hot,
Kneel and contemplate

this girl offers greetings to the Masters,
a slave offers greetings to the Mistresses,
greetings to all who serve,

For the midday sun,
One small slave awaits the plane.
Soon to serve with fire.

this slave wishes the Masters well,
a small one wishes the Mistresses well,
serve well to all who serve,

Andrew's tyr

Yay! Olaf, i write haiku's all the time! I've never tried one pertaining to Gor's ideals, but i'll give it a whirl.

Under watchful eyes
And through invisible chains
She is truly free...

Once a Tuchuk stood
Puzzled at the side of a road.
He walked around it.

A Gorean reads.
A stranger asks a question;
He hands him the book.

Be honest, brave, studious
You will merit truth

Certainly you're nuts...

I can't write a post that short.

I might try later...

Greetings to the Free
and to the property,

These are unconnected haiku.

Anger takes control
turn to leave, be defiant
Stopped by one word -- "kneel!"

His hand in my hair,
His mark red upon my skin
And i am content.

Not my will but His
Obedience in all things
As You wish, Master.

Not changing one's self
But true to nature's own mold
Try for excellence.

peace,

g

daylight emerges,
time evolves;
arrival knocks.

opening pathway,
doors unclosed.
distant future beckons.

unbroken footsteps.
glistening memories;
passing doorways.

illumined glances.
progressive wars;
finding, claiming homestone.

I wish you well,
~ Zevar ~
