In my marketing meditations calendar it has lil quips that deal with tips on marketing. I was readying one today that technically on some level reminded me of how a Master of Gor may view a potential slave and her "marketiing" strategy so to speak, so since i can't share at the office lol i thought to share here for comments:

The great philosopher Popeye's first rule was "I am what i am!" ... You can only be viewed by the market for what you are, or for what you will be soon.

I thought of slave with this mostly because of the for what you will be soon. Most Men look at a slave for the value she can be to him. On the block a slave may have marketed herself for what she saw as her value (i am what i am concept) but in the end, it is the "what she will become to him" Okay i am weird lol i read these marketing meditations daily and suddenly my mind turns to slavery.. go figure.

I too understood that completely but then again I also have and still use and teach marketing meditations at times. I look at a potential slave and see her for wnat she is now. Then I look and ascertain what I believe she can be and her value to me...In some ways it's like assessing and judging puppies.

greetings barelynangel
One of the things that drew me to Gor is that Goreans look upon themselves in a fashion that does not include the many Earth trappings wealth, etc, Gorean are comfortable with their station and focus on what they can do to make themselves the best at what they are. There is little social climbing nor fronts.

I wish you well

I hope more Masters/Mistresses think of it the way you do. My experience is limited to my nature. I have no skills and will need to learn how to behave in the way my Master/Mistress would like. I am spong when it comes to picking up knowledge and will work hard to please my Master/Mistress. My determination and comitment is my potential. I work everyday searching my mind for who I am, why I do what I do, and where I want to be. It comes down to, I am who my Master/Mistress says I am, because it is my nature to be a gamma servicing my alpha, and will be where I must to be who I am and what I want.

I hope my new profile conveys this and await my training.....
