Greetings Masters and Mistresses,
greetings slaves,

Picture three large Gorean Men on the stage, singing their hearts out! A few kajirae in the background...dressed in ta-teeras, maybe playing a small Celtic harp in accompaniment. A backdrop with the three moons of Gor and a vast landscape - a lone tarnsman scouring the skies.

And the music - something in the vein of My Dying Bride, or Asmegin, or Einherjer (the latter two of which are Norwegian). Hard, fast and brutal - har'ta!

Girl is not trying to be sarcastic, I honestly think it would work.

Now for a name...any ideas?

It could work. Stranger things have done so and attracted a cult following. You only have to remember that the Dr Who series never expected to get past the first showing and still has a huge cult following..... How this would impact with the Gorean Lifestylers I thing is a different story. As to the music choice, Metal is probably a good choice especially if you went a similar route as KISS. The books would give you a wide range of names from "The Tarnsmen" to "The Priest Kings". Just dont expect to ger an Emmy for it though.

greetings
Well, if someone from American Idol can lose and make I am sure they can. I like the idea of the stage background and celtic harp. My only compliant is the Metal Band. I would think more in the lines of alternative music, something like Loreena McKennitt.

I wish you well

Hmmmm, a Gorean style rock band?
Not sure what they would sound like, but a cover of the Rolling Stones " Under my Thumb" would be a must for their first album.

For a name, how about: Master Baytor and the Flying Tarnsmen
lol
Or just: The Slavers

I wish you well

Might I suggest ramped-up Celtic? with maybe a splash of Zydeco?

and we could call the band "the Freemen"

Afterthought: I just had a mental picture of kajirae dancing in front of the band to the sound of the bodhran ....Man what an image! "girl!!, some warm Paga over here!!"
