Status: offline 		I have just started reading about Gore and I have to say, it is very appealing to me. I suppose I don't necessarily subscribe to caste in real life but the descriptions of these here are definitely very indian. I have a silly question ..if you are a physician in real life...is it more likely for you to become a physician in Gore? or is it all completely random? oh..and a big hellow to all you Goreans. :)

welcome to the Gorean forums here on Collarme. Most people shorten Gorean to Gor , though I saw you live in Australia so maybe that is just a US thing. From what I have learned caste would follow what your profession is. There are many great posts if you read through the archives and also Master Tim created a faq thread.

Welcome Bluegod.  For those of us who live this way, caste and profession are very closely related.  I'm a consultant in the software development and engineering field, so I consider myself to be a Builder.  Being a physician, it would be natural that you would consider yourself to be of that caste.  As you can imagine, in my field I have a number of Indian friends and associates.  I even have a stone Ganesh on my desk that my partner brought back for me on her last trip.  As I understand it, he's supposed to help clear away obsticles, so I give him a glance whenever I'm stuck on a work problem.  Seems to work so far.

Training is spelled with a g or an ' at the end, sum is actrually spelled some and wud is spelled would or if you're begging for cock, sometimes wood.

Nobody likes a lazy kajira and that text speak shit sure makes you look lazy or filled with bad habits.

You might also want to ulter your posting stype so it doesn't mirror your mentors beyond the spelling errors.
