I do find it interesting though that for all his clan's money, power and influence, the American people would never elect a man who acted in such a way. I find that rather commendable, As in, there are some things you can't fix with money, power and influence. Still, he did a lot of good too; he was a rallying point for liberalism, and looking through the list of legislation he championed, he made quite a positive difference to American life. One can't help but wonder what he would have achieved had he stopped drinking like a pissed fish and shagging anything with a skirt and a pulse.
