When venturing into this lifestyle as a Gorean or a slave to a Gorean Man and then becoming owned or owning what are some of the things that transpired, are happening, that you do, or expect, etc etc now that you either never saw yourself doing in your life, or didn't expect happening being a slave or owning a slave, that is an unexpected delight or an unexpected dislike?

I am speaking of things from the mundane to the extreme, what you deem bad and good, what you do and don't like etc.

i look forward to hearing what some of the unexpected realities (good, bad, and the ugly) of being a slave or a Master within the Gorean mindset are based on the many different people of Gorean mindsets.

Thank you.

angel

Oh and if you want to add stuff like maybe how you wish it was different or such, that's okay too.

Angel lassy,

It's much the same as when you are the new kid at high school, first year at colledge, raw rooky at a military base or first time into a heavy singles or swinging group.... It is confusing, so many different things you are told. Who to believe, who is taking the piss out of you, who is a friend and who is placig a stiletto between your ribs....

I found unexpected friends and some who I thought to be friends betrayed me.. Considerit to be a learning curve. Like the Magickal Path, It is a lonely and can be a dangerous road but you do get to find and meet some truly amaxing people and make some good friends.. You will find jerls, jackoffs and clucterfucks too but that is just life. You choose if you want to participate and rish hurt togain the most out of it, OR withdraw to a safe place and stay safe.

greetings Master Ironbear lol

Your "new kid at high school" lol is why i asked. When i became owned, i was surprised at how much more accepting of my friends' quirks lol i was.. grins my own lil quirk was nothing to sneeze at.

One thing i remember that was the hardest for me to come around too was my focus on him. I went from the "i" mentality to the "him" mentality and it wasn't all that easy to do. laughs one thing that shocked me was how i reveled in his thanks. I know that sounds weird, but as my slavey progressed, i knew he didn't have to say it, it wasn't expected on my part, so when he said it i was almost in shock and he always laughed because i looked at him weirdly lol. With other Men, i not only expected it, but i saw it as an appreciation so if they didn't say it lol i would more than likely stop doing it. I didn't expect a thanks from my Master.

that was only thing i still remember.

greetings..
This is a very true statement.. i find this so funny that with the 'other' Men. Oftentimes it is an expected thing and all faith help when it is not given. With a Master..it is not expected at all. In fact if it is given, no matter how small it is something that i tend to treasure....
be well,

smiles at coccoon,

yes, at first i felt ackward that he would thankme it it was like duhh Master i am your slave lol. But i soon realized how cherishing it was... ya knew you dun good lol. The other thing i tended to not expect was my awareness when i was out on my own without him. It was almost on some level like i was missing something.

It comes back in pieces sometimes lol.. the good times are often tucked away and need to be pulled to the forefront again.

thanks for playin.

greetings

One of the most wonderful things I have found is that I am not alone.

I wish you well

What i am getting from the Masters it seems that many of you felt that you were alone or would not find commaraderie among people when getting into the lifestyle.. Was it simply because oof the "first day of Hight School" idea or something more -- is it just a Master thing?

The reason i ask that iis when i first realized there were others like me lol yes i know sounds alien, i was far from home missing my mass group of girlfriends who were so close to me for so long that we were like sisters lol laughing, crying, fighting, teasing, helping, supporting etc etc.. i was like wow maybe i could have the same thing though a different venue.. i was all gung ho lol and didn't really come into not expecting to find friends or commeraderie. But it seems many were.. i wonder why?

angel

Thank goodness its Friday..

Perhaps one reason that this seems common among men is that they don't form societies in the same way that women do....We are for the most part fairly stoic bastards, prone to far more solitude than the preponderance of women. I can count my friends on one hand, my close friends after IronBear has split it in Gorean combat and my close, close, close friends would take but my pinkie. The rest are merely acquaintences.

Women, it seems to me for whatever it is worth (and I understand for some of you my opinion is worth nothing...LOL) have larger broods of friends and more in each circle that they share their various personal interiors with.

We ALL laugh at the slave 'network'. But kinda like that, you see.

The Master network is a far silenter and islandic organization for the most part.

Ron

Things I dident expect positive: That I would be responcible for a Homestone and have
so many in My home and family who would trust in My ways, opinions, situation, strenths and weaknesses
to stick it out with Me for the long haul thru thick and thin as a group and family of many people with differances far more then can be related in this simple post thats been strenthened by our Gorean
beliefs when the thought of such a thing happening was never put on the table in My home nor discussed but being the Free Woman I am took to task the issue of keeping Our Structure in place as best I could instead of letting it desolve by walking away from what would of looked to by most to be a impossible task and would of been understandable from what I gathered if I had actually done such. Guess My charactor wouldent let Me. Or is it that Gorean insanity ?? LOL

Things I dident expect negitive: That I would be responcible for a Homestone and have so many in
My home and family who would trust in My ways, opinions, situation, strenths and weaknesses and stick it

even when I feel at times I am going to fail and lose it all and all the catch places are used up and were at
the moneys end and the work and businesses are not working out right and ALL the children in the home are sick with flu as well as the slaves and I have to be in three different countries on the same day as well as home because a slave has had a life changeing situation and I have to choose between being there or keeping the whole house viable and working and such hard issues are just next to impossible for one Free Woman to make at times like when I had Mother Nature come calling and have a hurricane hit Me in three different places in one fell swoop and take out three homes of Mine at once and Me having to choose which place Im to be in order to be of most help and assistance for My personal causes as well as My causes to My Community and such choices and decisions makes for a rather rude and crude Woman to most and when You had always seen Poly living from a equally structured state where there were Men and Woman in the Home and Men present to lead and never knew for a moment that with two Masters in My Home I would ever have been the One * left* in it to tend to all at such a early age due to their passing after forming such a Homestone and having to ask My self after others ask Me why I do it, till I just look into the eyes of one of My Husbands slaves who gives Me such a look of care and compassion it could melt the hardest of Men.
quote:

Things you didn't expect

that I would be blessed with slaves who for the most part get along with one another and actually
can live with one another positivly.
as many in My BDSM life outside My Home were always bickering and fighting for attention and position and showed jealousy.
quote:

Things you didn't expect

That I would be sitting here today expressing My self and My Gor to other Goreans around the
world when I came from a Group of Goreans formed in the late 60s that were in a very small
town and not at all accepted nor allowed and fought against at every turn for many a year.
( well I still fight against many both in the vanilla world and even here but, yanno I gotta make
My points! )
quote:

Things you didn't expect

That I could as a Free Woman persue the opinions of Gorean Men across the world and gain viable information/things from them that has benifited not only Me but My Home in a way that I would not of been
had and be able to return such things to other Goreans, if I had simply been a widow Woman in a vanilla world.
quote:

Things you didn't expect

To be accepted as the strong Woman Ive always been and still adore Men and be accepted by Men for such and cherished in return.

Oh Preist Kings I used adore and cherished in one post I must be getting soft!!!

quote:

i felt ackward that he would thankme it it was like duhh Master i am your slave

it wasent you He was thanking but your slavery. this is what confuses newbies when they first
come to alternate lifestyles and do a 3 65 turn about. they say they wouldent of dreamed doing
this to other men, and maybe if they had would of had as much a Master in those men as they
found in this lifestyle....... or many Men say I cant find a slave however never understand the
concepts of servitude and self giving hence do not know how to ween towards such in a slave
in their training and skill or a vanilla in the whole woman/man scheem of things in general.
it takes the personal responcibility of becomming Gorean away from the vanilla world that lets
a person open up and seek out that which is an actual desire that would not of been originally
addressed for the worry of being looked at as one who does not follow the * me* generation
of looking at things in society and life living. JMO

So as not to cause you any anxiety; I will not use a name, or indicate further the meaning of this, but you seem clever enough, you will know who you are. Read This Post by MistressDread.

This post by MistressDREAD, is part and parcel of how I can say that even Masters are enthralled by something, or someone; ultimately.

Very insightful post MistressDread.

Sincerely,
Ron
