Greetings

I have about the same hobbies all year around. Reading science fiction, horror and fantasy books, watching movies and TV series, playing computer games, both of these also science fiction, horror and fantasy themed films and games as well as reading comics with the same and playing RPG games. I am trying to learn how to bellydance. I am also trying to get into robotics.

Other than that I spend allot of time studying the occult, that takes up most of my time.

I wish you well.

Tal All,

Seems my favorite hobby as of late has been work. Opening four new stores and ending up short handed has been interesting. 7 days a week 12-13 hours a day! I sneak in a bit of reading on my lunch break still thankfully...and crawling the boards at what now seems to be 3am.

I wish you all well,
Scott

Greetings, Masters and Mistresses.Hello, girls :) For me, the winter time means more baking and holiday decorating of course!   I do a lot of things throughout the year but I do find that in the winter months I tend to slip into my passions a bit more.  I play piano and guitar and sing quite a bit (and most recently I mess around with the theremin).  I tend to write more in the winter too whether it be poetry or prose.  I make jewelry more in the winter time as well as drawing and painting and leatherworking.  I also love to just make... stuff.  :)  Gift boxes made with retro vintage Christmas cards, wooden jewelry boxes decorated with Swarovski stones and brass findings, calligraphy, indoor photography, and probably in the next few months, quite a bit of home decorating yay! :)  Hopefully I will also be learning more bellydancing and trying out new recipes in the new kitchen. I also home school the mancub this year so my time is more limited for the above things but I will still manage to squeeze them in when I can :) After reading the responses... whew!  We've got some interesting and busy people around these parts!   Well wishes and happy holidays to everyone. Cav's ally

Greenhouse reinforcing, orchard pruning...and, oh yeah, cross-country skiing. Lots of it.

The nice thing about this time of year is cuddling with the children, the bad thing is the increased levels of depression suffered by people, especially the elderly. I knew it was bad, but until I started working in palliative care and as a carer for seniors I never realised how bad. I did find that they appreciated it when you say hello with a smile. So I ask that people maybe take a moment of their time to speak to others in the darker weather, it might just make that difference for them. I am working with a senior who loves to teach and loves handcrafts. She is teaching me to knit.

Master Musicmystery,

Handcuffs are yummy, but not exactly my idea of fun, the lady in question is in her 80's. Now being handcuffed in an orchard...*winks and goes of purring at the idea*

Traveling as of late. I extended my warm months by going to New Orleans and then Hong Kong. Winter before Christmas is usually very slow at work and then it picks up after New Years is done.

Let's see, I end up sitting on cold bleachers, freezing my ass off for a couple of hours, but I am enjoying myself as I watch my youngest play soccer in high school.  I wouldn't give that up to be warm.  What can I say, I'm a proud mother.

YAY Soccer Moms! My youngest (who is now grown with his own family) was a soccer kid when we lived in the cold North, I am with you on this one-hundred percent. Blessings to you, Sister, and live well!

I have been freezing my butt off, roasting my butt off or being drenched in rain for over 15 years with both of my kids playing soccer.  Both of my girls were on competitive teams so they played year round.  I can't even begin to count the number of miles we've must have traveled in all those years due to tournaments & championships.  My oldest was on 3 different women's teams up until last year when she tore her acl and had to have surgery.  The dr has just now cleared her to be able to play now.  Blessings to you and yours this holiday season.

I wish you well.
