If you want shoot me a cmail and I can give you some info that might help. Is it a government loan? ACtually it doesn't matter you should qualify for a hardship deference. If you don't qualify for that they should have a graduated/lowered plan available. Also, check your state laws. In some states if you offer to pay something and they turn that down then they cannot win in court. In addition, they have to actually file with the court to garnish your wages. I just saw a lawyer for someone that was trying to collect a debt that was already paid off and he said even if I did owe it not to give them banking/work information. Don't offer it. On top of all that there are some new laws being put into place for student loans. My mom had hers on hold for almost 5 years because she literally couldn't afford it and could prove she would lose her housing. If none of that works I'd call a legal aid lawyer. Anytime I've had trouble paying all the companies involved worked with me.

I admit I think you should call your local bar association and see if they have a free legal clinic, greedy. I admit I think the collection agency is shining you on.. In my state, you can 't garnish wages until the debt is reduced to judgment. I admit I don't know about yours. Hence the legal clinic. A law school, if one is near you, might also have a free clinic.

i admit i'm learning to drive manual. i'm not bad, just not good :P i admit, i accidently locked the keys in the car after the battery died. i admit, it hadn't died, it was a $3 grommet that fell off! my automatic car would NEVER do that. it'd die of something spectacular that'd cost me $300 at LEAST! i admit, my son in law made me pimp my self (wave down cars) when they wouldn't stop with two of us standing looking sad. i admit, i think they took pity on me because all but one car stopped. unfortunately all were going in wrong direction :P

I admit that I had my hair cut extremely short. I got sick and tired of dealing with the split ends and rats nests. I admit I shocked Mom for getting it that short. I admit the new Dial nutri-skin lotion for sensitive skin is awesome!!! I mix it with shea butter and Africa's best herbal oil as winter dries my skin out. I admit Ive stayed away from here for a while.... I admit its not for lack of caring about yall... I admit I dont have time to read back and catch up so all I can say is Im thinking about yall and I hope things are going well... I admit its been a rough couple of weeks for me (ok, months? a year? whatever)... I admit between troubles at home, insecurity at work, and an annoying infection that antibiotics arent touching....all I really want to do is curl up and sleep. The stress is getting to me and Im tired. So very very tired. Its making it very very hard to focus and think and make decisions, and Im at a point in my life where Im being asked to make what could be the very most important decision I have to make and its not just going to effect me.
