I admit that I got the results back from the cultures today and it is MRSA, not shingles.

I admit I have to take another antibiotic, no hugging and kissing the kiddos and no touching the projects until it is gone.

I admit, fight the good fight against the MRSA, Shahar - that stuff is no joke, but it's good that you caught it early.

I admit, I caught it shortly before I went to KU from someone who caught it at KU. ItMs an interesting feeling, knowing something is aggressively trying to colonize and destroy you. One of the worst sicknesses ever. And horribly ouchy.

Will be sending you tons of good thoughts and glitter. Tons and tons!

I admit, my grandmama is in the hospital; she was dehydrated and had something going on with her stomach. Apparently she hadn't eaten anything for 3 days. Oy...

I admit, I'm thinking about moving back home for a while to help out.

I hope the doctor did not report me to the state.  Me and isolation wards don't get along...

ETA:  Got the cmail, Lilly...my doctor recommends the same thing and I do use Dial soap.

Actually, shingles is a secondary outbreak of herpes zoster. Common name. chicken pox.

You, I and everyone else our age had chicken pox as a kid. The virus went dormant in our basal ganglia and stayed there for years. As one ages, our immune system weakens a bit and if you have a particularly stressful time, (or other reasons that noone knows fuckall about) it allows the virus to become active again creating that painful as hell condition we know as 'shingles'.

i don't normally use Dial, i normally use froo-froo girly body washes, but it's amazing what Dial will do against staph.

It was a cream liner pencil by whatever that store brand is that Walgreens carries -- back by the cosmetics counter. I love that stuff, really bold black and really smooth application (you have to sharpen it a lot, though, because it's soft and you need a good point for precision -- but the Walgreens near me doesn't carry it, so ... I'll have to see if another one has it. =p I don't want to drive aaaaalllll the way over to the one where I originally found it. =p

I admit, I think it would be cool to meet Kaliko (yes, I'm referring to you in the third person =p) in person -- she seems pretty snazzy. Pleasant and level-headed.

I admit L'Oreal has a nice eyeliner out too that I am for once satisfied with.

I admit I dont remember the name, and am in no mood to dig it out, but it comes in a pot with a brush.

I admit that when I was a kid, I had a beautiful cat with a wise face named Kaliko. I admit that she's been dead for 27 years and I still remember her, too.

I admit this has been the bane of my existence and my study time

I admit I had this idea tonight and did a little research

I admit I was able to record myself using my mac reading my lecture notes and then able to transfer them to my ipod so that it could be hooked to the car speakers and played as I drive my butt to school

I admit I'm feeling kinda proud of myself :P
