I admit that Hilly never needed to chase any of us! Bearing in mind that I have aluminum whacking sticks!

I admit that I am only splinted, no cast, but no weight bearing and CRUTCHES for at least ten days. GAH!! I expect I will become competent with the crutches at about the time I no longer need them. :/ I am able to put my foot down as a balance check, though, so that's good.

I admit it astounds me how trivial things like this are so much more annoying than serious things.

I admit, I'm at my wits end with the computer. I can't seem to get it to stop wanting to validate, it refuses to accept my product key, even though it's valid -- well, the hardware profile changed so drastically when my brother rebuilt the thing, so... yay.

And the CD-RW drivers are eluding me, so I can't re-install Windows anyway... (so not looking forward to that obnoxious process...)

I admit, I came back from T-Day vacation, went to upload a file, and BOOM -- computer death sequence initiated...

Seriously, the people who come up with these atrocious viruses are evil geniuses........ evil genius pieces of garbage.


I admit, however, I've been reading some old threads -- I love the stuff you can run into on this forum.

I admit that I am about to choke the life out of Geoff's adorable mortal coil. He can't send a text that says "promise not to worry?" and then not reply to me in an immediate fashion. THAT makes me worry!!!

I admit that my stomach is churning acid now like a bingo ball spinner. There will be restraints and an ironing board in his future!!!

I admit that I have heard back from him, and he is not wrapped around a telephone pole, dying from Legionnaire's Disease, or otherwise impaled on a picket fence.

I admit that no one can say to a mother, "please don't worry" or "are you driving right now?" or any other variation of same and not expect her to go batshit with panic. I have gotten those calls... Thing 1 being carted away in an ambulance to get stitches in his face after he wrecked his skateboard or bike, Thing 2 breaking her arm and being set in a cast as I get to the doctor's office... I panic. It's what I do.

I admit that I am still going to afix the aforementioned Geoff to an immovable object and beat him.

I admit that he won't feel better, but I will. [:)] And it really IS all about ME, isn't it??? [:D]

It just makes my sadomasochistic heart proud.

Now, to make my brother bring over the jigsaw and power saw so we can get this floor down.  We got the couch blocking the front door, the POS entertainment center fixed up and I need a drill bit for the cables in the floor.  We are using crayons to make where to cut and drill.

BTW, if I am missing for a few days before Christmas, I am working on the corner where the computer hides in.

I admit that if you are going to use restraints and an iron / ironing board, might as well use an old fashioned cattle brand on the ass cheek.

I admit I've been told a tailbone bruising can cause pain for at least a year or two.  O YAY for that.

I admit I moved a lot of things today, made room to put my boxes in some sort of order, filled a huge garbage bag and a plastic recyclable bag for cardboard/paper.  Now if only I had somewhere to get it out. 

I admit I also got 5 boxes of books unloaded and put in the bookshelf that will eventually be moved to the bedroom.  Good thing laminate floors don't mark up with light furniture and I can drag it myself.

I admit my case manager came by, I won't be getting the rent subsidy for Dec, but she did backdate it to Nov so it's possible I'll get a chq for the difference, and I should get Dec-Jan together. 

I admit my gov't disability cheque was $53 short, due to a misunderstanding and missing papers.  And they didn't include my medical mileage for the dental consult or the appt itself.

I admit this of course has to happen in December.  So short on funds for Christmas another year.  Bejeeeezus, this just sucks the big one.  And not the right big one either. [8D]

I admit that my customer got her book today.  I mailed it on Wednesday.  She is happy.

I admit the money I made from the sale goes into the Ikkicon hotel fund (as long as I stay away from Ebay).

I admit OTOH, I am going to visit Paul on Thursday.  I swear no getting lost, I used yahoo directions, checked them 3 times, wrote them down, and checked them against what I'd written down.  No steps missed this time. [:)]

I admit I'm glad Red has such cool in-laws.  I've only got my Dad left as immediate family, but have been a very lucky woman to have been accepted by his g/f as another daughter, and her kids, all around my age, accept me as another sister.  I am truly blessed to have found such loving and giving people who always include me in their shindigs. 

I admit it would take me less than a day to teach Hibbie to use those crutches.  I iz an experte.  Mais oui.  When dad sold the family home, he got rid of 5 pairs of crutches, all mine.  [8D]
