SorceressJ -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/14/2011 7:43:22 PM)

I admit that Red is braver than me, on account of I could never get one of Those Damn Things.
I admit that I was a Pillhead until not too long before the conception of my last child in January 1990.
I admit that this being child #3, I was then smart enough to arrange for a tubal ligation in the hospital when this child was born the next October, and not only has it kept me from conceiving in my randy old age, it regulated and mellowed out my moontimes.
I admit that now, I go for two to three days, every four weeks or so, and sometimes I don't even have to take anything for pain. I admit, this makes me {{{bIg HaPpY}}}. [:D]

hausboy -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/14/2011 8:25:57 PM)

I admit...
my Sir just got permission from his new Mistress....  she has considered his request and he is now allowed to have his houseboy come back to visit on Sundays! oh happy day!

I admit...I really could do for a good, sound paddling.....

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/14/2011 9:06:16 PM)

YAY HAUSBOY!!!!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/14/2011 9:21:29 PM)

I admit that is great news, Hausboy!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 2:27:29 AM)

I admit I miss being able to sleep through the night.

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 2:35:17 AM)

*hugs mah Hibbie*

SorceressJ -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 2:37:25 AM)

I admit, me too Hibs.. [sm=sleepy.gif]*le sigh*

LillyBoPeep -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 5:11:38 AM)

Good news hausboy :)

I admit, I hope Hibbie gets some z's

I admit, I think I'm on my way out of the last bout of weird sleeping.

ShaharThorne -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 5:55:40 AM)

YAY for hausboy!

I admit that I feel another lump in my armpit.  Yet another blocked lymph node it seems like.  At least its not sore.

I admit that I am all out of cereal.

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 7:00:55 AM)

I admit I love my landlord! he is SUCH a ditz! he called me this morning, and rather bashfully said:

"I have a problem, only you can help me with..."

(of course, I immediately thought something had gone wrong at the bank....)

"yes, Mark? whatcha need?"

"well, I did laundry yesterday, and your check was in my wallet... which went through the machine"

dingbat!! LOL!!

so he brought my my nicely laundered check, and I wrote him another!!

such a great change from the Tampa experience.... :)

SorceressJ -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 7:36:04 AM)

I admit with no disrespect to the participants there intended, the constant conflict and adamance of the Gorean threads confuse me.

I admit that my confusion has nothing whatsoever to do with my lack of maleness. Think what you like.

I admit that across-the-board notions of "gender supremacy" or 'men are this and women are that' are somewhere between a fun fantasy and outright bullshit. We are all in this thing called life together, and we all need each other, period. Deal with it.

I admit that I am going to make myself a set of long, flowing brown robes, start carrying a giant Mag-lite everywhere I go, and call myself a Jedi based on the principles presented in the 'Star Wars' series. In the end, it makes just as much sense.

I admit that I could have outwritten John Norman when I was a child of five. No really, I was already reading and writing by then. Obey this.

I admit, save the hate mail. I won't read it. Kthnxbi.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 8:20:40 AM)

I admit that SJ is of course, a GENIUS type person of tremendous common sense. I admit that the good and useful parts of Gor, that we should behave according to our natures, and that whole honor and take care of your family thing, are notions that are NOT new in any part of this zone of reality.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 8:29:49 AM)

I admit, I agree - some parts of it are useful, but they're also things represeted by a variety of different philosophies.
I admit, any sort of gender supremacy irritates me. I think it's a way for people who don't feel important to assert importance for basically doing nothing. :p if gender alone makes you superior, where's the merit? Where's your contribution?

I admit, those are only my opinions and do nnot represent the opinions of the "I Admit" thread.

I admit that no, I'm really not Hibs, and never meant to suggest otherwise, but thank you for the compliment just the same. [:)]
I admit that I am no more or less human than the next person.
I admit that I don't need the 'good and useful' parts of Gor in that regard, as those were truisms that I believed in well before I picked up the first book and ended up chucking it across the room in disgust (and I love books as the windows into the Universe that they are, and have never done that since. It's the notion that all females either are or secretly desire to be slaves, and the attendant presumptions among some groups, that so turns me off. I say, to each their own gifts and inclinations, regardless of gender. Just sayin'.)

EDITED to remove the word 'sarcastic', because it probably didn't belong there.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 8:59:45 AM)

I admit that I made it through ONE entire Gor book. Edgar Rice Burroughs is rollling in his grave.

I admit that I know Goreans that have my respect--and I think that they would be fine people with or without the "gorean" title.

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 9:47:17 AM)

I admit I just got word: Aunt Kitty's surgery went well, now she just has to do the recovery thing. There was none of that perio-whatever that can be associated with gallbladder surgery (YAY!!), but Kitty is a stubborn ol wench, so she is likely to try and do more than she should way sooner than she really (physically) should....

so.. continued good wishes appreciated!!

ghita -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 10:06:26 AM)

I admit...Ive made it through just about all of them.

I admit Ive occasionally argued on their behalf...

I admit Im currently reading the Conan books from back in the 30's.

I admit Id love to create an entire lifestyle based on them. That would be fun.

SorceressJ -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 10:57:48 AM)

I admit that Hibs has it, spot-on.

I admit that I am happy to see Ghita. [:)]

VirginPotty -> RE: I Admit It I........ (12/15/2011 12:47:30 PM)

I admit that I hate window shopping but LOVE looking online at homes for sale!

I admit today is our Dept.'s Christmas party & I'm enjoying the peace/quiet at the office listening to women singing the blues on the online jukebox.

I admit that in my years with this company I've never gone to a Christmas party and only a couple of Summer picnics and that was only when there were 2 grandkids and one was in a stroller.

I admit that I hate big social events even when I know people.

Conanians vs Goreans. Sounds like a mini series for SyFy. [8D]
