~beamage for Stella~ Feeling lousy and getting no help is the height of discouraging. The basic diabetic diet of protein, veg, whole grain, is always the best bet, but when you can't digest ANYTHING, just go with whatever will stay down. Ice cream? Rice? Beef tea?

I admit I haven't been here since before Christmas.

I admit that I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays.

I admit that I had a great Christmas and New Year's, even though I was apart from Geoff.

I admit that I haven't read anything here since I was on last, so I'm sending love and well wishes to all of you.

I admit that I have been super busy with work, home and wedding plans, but it's all starting to come together nicely.

I admit that my wedding gown and Thing 2's dresses have been ordered.

I admit that Geoff will be looking at kilts with me this weekend during his visit.

I admit that I am happy and in love.

I admit that Mom is coming home tonight.  They did a battery of tests and our doctor wants her in the office first thing in the morning.

I admit that at the first of the month, I am buying a new blood pressure monitor for her.  The bladder in the cuff is getting wacky.

I admit now I can get some sleep.

chicken carcass into slow cooker with heaps of garlic. straight broth - no salt. is easy on the tummy.

also instant mash and applesauce are pretty easy on the tum as well. someone once advised me a grated apple on toast was vy good for settling stomach too.

I admit it took me 45 minutes to clear my car windows of ice yesterday, then some snow, then some rain. Now I have to start all over again. [>:]

I admit I have no choice but to go out today, and of course NOW it's snowing big time. O the joys of living right next to the St-Lawrence Seaway. But then I knew it'd be like this.

I admit I made popovers for lunch yesterday and OMFG were they yummy!!

I admit that I'm wondering when the BIG DAY is for Red & Geoff!

I admit that I've rec'd glowing reports from the new forever families of a couple of previous fosters and while I'm happy that all is going well it makes me want another foster that much more.

I admit that since kitten season is over (March-Oct) there are no fosters for me at this time so I've branched out & emailed the contact person for dogs.

I admit that while I LOVE my 2 cats that I adopted a couple of years ago from the rescue group, this is why I wanted to stay a foster & not adopt...I wanted to bring in animals that need peace/quiet or don't want other animals around.  I especially loved taking care of critically ill animals, bringing them home to die in peaceful surroundings only to see them recover & adoptable.

I admit that I hope that everyone one has a fantabulous weekend and Red, pics or your weekend w/Geoff never happened!!!!![8D]
