I know what you mean, Tigger. Lambs been so high for so long, I haven't had it in over a decade. Needless to say, I intend to invite a few friends over, and make damn, short work of the sucker! I'll think of you when I take the first bite.

Now, what recipe to do to it? Hmmm....red currant or mint glaze? Rosemary, garlic, mustard, honey and lemon coating? Orange juice, white wine, garlic, thyme & rosemary marinade?

Too many choices make me lose my mind!

Anybody have an outstanding leg of lamb recipe to share?

nope. american lamb is cut differently and killed at a different age then aus and nz lamb.

i admit, i always go for the simple but sublime roasted with rosemary and garlic, with roast potatoes, onions, pumpkin.

The real problem is she only got it last week, to replace the previous one which I dropped while it was filled with tea when our puppy decided she wanted to play as I was walking across the kitchen. 

Ass is grass is an understatement. I think I might make a run to the store we got it in and buy a dozen tomorrow, well there goes my new tenor uke strings. *gulp, starts praying to Athena for divine intervention*

I admit that I had a wonderful weekend.
I admit that I cut/cooked all my food for the week and have enough steel cut oatmeal & celery sticks to feed a small army!

I admit that I made fried breaded eggplant, cabbage soup and chocolate pudding too.
I admit that I was able to go out & walk a couple of miles yesterday finishing up at the liquor store to buy a 6-pack of mojitos which I felt the need to consume last night instead of dinner.

I admit that I'm counting it as a liquid diet[:D]
I admit that listening to Lou Ann Barton sing the blues while cooking & enjoying a bottle of mojito made for a very relaxed VP[;)]
I admit that I did some drunk texting last night which is always fun!

I admit I've had a bad morning so far.

I admit a lightning strike whacked my DVR/receiver and the HDMI output failed (a new one will be here tomorrow via UPS).  Yes, I use a surge surpressor.  You wouldn't believe how nasty that strike sounded!

I admit that my sinus infection, which almost landed me in the hospital last week, suddenly has my teeth killing me again, so it hurts to chew gum (doc will be calling back).  I'm having a CT of them this afternoon.

I admit I hate to be reading a thread when *poof* it disappears.  Dayum.

I admit it, when it rains it pours. 

My mother is ill, with her liver failing.  Even though she's only 64, she's no longer able to live on her own.  I have to find a way to convince her to give up the home she's living in, and come live with me, or be forced to go into a nursing home by the caseworker they've assigned to her.

My 21 y/o son was just got out of the hospital after an emergency appendectomy. 

I guess I didn't file my state taxes the two years before I moved to Michigan, so Louisiana decided (11 years later) I owed them 1,700 dollars and without warning, levied my bank account.

Despite the bad weather, I'm blessed that the call was, "your mom is ill,' and not what it so realistically nearly was; the surgery was successful and my son is home healing; I have some money aside, to cover the levy and a friend is paying for part of the costs for me to get to Louisiana and move my mother here.

I admit I'll be off work the next two days as I'll be living at work the rest of the week[:)]

I admit I hope the engineer comes on monday to set up my landline and internet...cause by now I received another day for that on the 9th Feb, where I'll be unable to be off at work[>:]

I admit as there are two different reference numbers I'm assuming they accidentially logged it twice [8|] and so still expect him to turn up on monday...[:)]
