I admit I am awake at 5am.

I admit it's because I strained my neck 4 days ago and it still hurts.

I admit it's cold & rainy outside and I'm not particularly in the mood for work. Hmm.

I admit that some of the idiots in PAR make my brain hurt more than normal. I kind of wish there was a "Hide forum" function like the "Hide user".

I admit I'm excited about my pre-birthday celebration tomorrow! Even if I'd prefer not to be 27.

I admit that my boy's band did well this weekend, debuting their field show during the festival. We had the top seven marching bands in Western Canada in town. Hubby and I both worked the event, but were finished in time to watch the home team perform. What a wonderful job. There is a video on my facebook. If you want to look, just let me know. The most impressive part was at the end when all the bands were gathered on the field, they played O Canada. All five hundred and seventy something of them. Now THAT was impressive!

i admit hugs and goods for those who need them as i have not caught up since i was last here.

i admit i have just had a lovely long weekend with my playmate and i shall miss him in bed tonight.

i admit that my boy, and his friend, was attacked over the weekend and my boy was lucky to walk away needing three stitches to the back of his head. the dr said he was very lucky to have not lost an eye or worse. i admit that this was all over the boys bikes which were stollen. i admit that i am very happy that they are both ok. i admit i am also greatful to my playmate for being here and going with me to wait 3 hours with the boy in a+e. i admit that if i were to get my hands on these skum, who were tooled up ready to cause harm, i'd do more than kick them in the cunt!

How horrible for your son, Needles! I'm glad he's okay now.

I admit that I just brought the leatherbound edition of Edgar Allan Poe on ebay. It was the same seller that had the Lovecraft edition that I am reading right now. I am taking bets that Mom is going to kill me but at least I am not buying yarn.

ETA: They have the leatherbound edition of Sherlock Holmes as well. I think I buy that one next month, budgeting my book buying spree.

I admit that I just watch the vid & the pics haus send me & its very sad... but to see haus holding his helmet I could not feel what he felt that moment..
I admit that after seen the service which aclled (The final call of bill) which I think it was nice letting people know that one of the fire department just passed... in a sad "formell" way.. of ("one of the bravest" just died.. stop what you are doing & salute him).. the finall call...
I admit that it kinda reach out to me that if i wanted to go ... i would want to go like him.. a hero.. in life.. & in death..

I admit that I never known ya Bill.... but man you are going to bee missed...

on my 27th (it was my 'golden birthday'), my then husband took me in for a visit to his shrink. the shrink proceeded to ask me what i thought of my husband wanting a divorce.

let's just say i never did get a celebration that year. have a slice of cake for my missed 27th, pwease??

Thank you Haus! My 20's have been mixed (well, the first 6.5 years were terrible). 26.5 was the start of my fairytale. So while it may be late to start enjoying my 20's, better late than never.
KMsAngel - I'll certainly try! I didn't even think of birthday cake till you mentioned it! I might have to put a request in.

I admit work was hectic. But, we managed to put team nursing into action and my fellow coworkers helped me tremendously.

I admit I am so glad I have 2 days off.

I admit I see the plastic surgeon tomorrow for the consultation about my little procedure. I am equal parts nervous and excited.

I admit then it's pre-birthday dinner & movie with the BFF!
