I admit...I miss everyone but the things keeping me away are GOOD things

I admit that I think some forum noob called me out on a thread! Which is making me laugh. Why be oblique, just say Hib, you're full of it!

I admit mom's off having a nerve function test...fingers crossed someone can help manage her symptoms.

I admit the contractor has finally started work on my house today!!! YAAAAAAAAAAaY!

Work list:

Change the pitch of one roof, replace tile and skylight in the soon to be non-leaky bathroom, new soffits and fascia, aluminum wrapped two new windows, levelling my kitchen floor for ceramic tile. These guys won't be doing it, but the living room was will be repaired (plaster to wallboard).

3 out of 4 of the fellows have already got stung by wasps. Luckily the guy allergic to them didn't get stung! Had to run out and buy benadryl.

I admit that the physiatrist that did mom's test was actually semi-useful this time (he is hard to pin) and thank goodness she had a spasm right there so he could see it!!

I admit that it's still raining a little! Which is a long way from a broken drought but still promising!

i admit that i watered my garden, even though the sky is dark and the forecast is rain.
 
i admit that it is difficult to wait for my gallbladder surgery.  Now instead of Monday it is rescheduled for Tuesday.
 
i admit that i am losing weight on the zero fat diet.

I admit that I am getting nothing done today at all, I am really preoccupied with Barb's surgery... and I want to be home knitting and doing something mindless instead of sorting stuff to file on my desk and doing mindless payroll tax forms...

I admit on FB, I just discovered something about a friend of about 20 yrs that has made me lose almost all respect for him (he is supporting chick-fil-a's stance on homosexuality). This makes me very sad.

You could do like I did, have a huge attack and get admitted early, then spend 15 hours on a wonderful morphine drip until the surgeon shows up.

Hang in there, it is well worth the surgery. I was really happy to get mine done early though, because thinking about being put to sleep freaks me the hell out.
