I admit this new chick at work is making me crazy. I admit that this is largely due to the fact that apparently she can't figure out how to handle cash ( the drawer is short AGAIN). She also can't seem to figure out how to make reservations (I just checked in one of our semi-regular guests who was SUPPOSED to have a reservation for tonight, but newchick made it for 5 August). SHe's nice enough, but FFS, at least learn to handle the cash correctly! I'll cut her some slack on the reservation thing - she IS new - but GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I admit that I am taking Mom in to the doctor this morning. The kiddos gave her the croup (as well as my brother). I just hope the antibiotics are not expensive. I admit that this talk of oreos is making me hungry. I might get some this Friday (double-stuffed).

I admit I may have to postpone my beach trip by a day (assuming newchick grasps the skills to cover for me). APPARENTLY, due to an injudicious* remark on my part, my car decided it needed a visit to its new mechanic. The verdict was, fortunately not nearly as horrible as I might have expected - it needs a new battery. *I commented to the maintenance guy at work (who just wrecked his car and is looking for a cheap, reliable replacement) that my mechanic "who I always took the Blazer to, and will take this car to if I need to" sometimes sells cars. FML.

I admit I hope Greedy gets to go to the beach sooner than later. I admit that I just called my ladies, to tell them to be at work next Monday at 8 am, and one of them giggled as she told me she was in Orlando, sitting by a pool , in a most wonderful resort. I told her she gets to clean the bathroom Monday!!!! I admit that I hate it I didn't make it to Clearwater this summer, but, I am aiming to go during Christmas break.
