I admit that I am a happy asshole! Motherfuckers, finally got my fourth paddle. Now I prefer crops but still happy nights are finally here... Oh what fun can be had now, now if only they gave out alligator clips!!!

i admit that the power company, on a nice sunny day, cut off our power in order to change a transformer.

i admit that i thought i would have to use the old gas range to cook supper.

i admit that it doesn't require electricity to light the burners - there are pilot lights.

i admit that i asked Master if He would like to cook on the gas grill out back.

i admit that He said He would have to go get another thing of gas in order to operate the gas grill

i admit that the power came back on in half an hour so i could cook as usual.

I admit, I came to an epiphany yesterday.
I admit, there's times Im too nice to people, and end up feeling taken advantage of when they arent so nice to me.
I admit, I think the most effective soluton would be dont be so nice to people, especially the ones who dont deserve it.
I admit, this concerns me because I dont like being a dick to people either.

I admit, I just watched the US Mens Basketball team play Nigeria
I admt, it wasnt even close (156-73).

It really isn't a matter of being too nice vs: being a dick.

It is about having healthy boundaries with other people (and sometimes ourselves).

I choose to treat people wit compassion and kindness.

However, when they behave towards me in a way that does not feel good, I can choose to detach from them, I can choose to let them know that when they do X, I feel Z; there are options.

It is easy to want to lash out when one feels cornered or like one doesn't have any choice but to accept bad behavior from others.
Choice = Empowerment.

Impotent rage is a nasty thing.
We always have more options than we think we do, provided we know that positive action has to come from us.
We can't always count on people to sweep their side of the street, but if someone is throwing garbage out a window, you don't have to stand there and bitch about the garbage they are dumping on you.

You can always move out of the way (and being a dick has nothing to do with that).

I admit... Seeing a smiling face and receiving a big hug and kiss when I got off the plane last night was the best feeling ever. :)

I admit... I'm soooo happy to be home!

I admit... The California sun feels wonderful on my skin.

I admit... I had surprises when I got home! Yay for surprises!

I admit... They weren't anything big, but the small things count all the same.

I admit... That's all for now. :)

I admit that our Jellie is the most amazing person. She is like my conscience, I always think of the wonderful example of grace and kindness she is.

I admit I wish Haus was here at the beach with us!

The ocean was full of weeds, and we were attacked by tiny fish!! we kept feeling little "bonks" like bugs were landing on us, but it was inch long fish jumping out of the water!

At dinner, I tossed a spilled ice cube off the dock and attracted an actual HERD of catfish! All it would have taken is a dip net and there would have been a serious fish fry! NOT that the notion of skinning and cleaning a mess of ten pound catfish appeals.

I admit that I want to be at the beach.

I admit Mom got the tune-up yesterday and the mechanic called with the total. A couple of hours later, he called back. My brother paid for it behind our backs.

I admit one of the postal workers has to be out for 14 weeks, which means that my brother's hours will be full-time.

I admit that I am ready for bed but the women's individual gymnastics is on and I have to watch Gabby win the gold.

I admit that I am about to buy my bus tickets for October. The earlier I buy them, the cheaper they are.
