And keeping with the thread....I admit that we have nice weather tonight, but the next few days are looking pretty fierce in terms of heat and severe stormd and possibly a tornado warning or two.

i admit it, i'm pickled tink.

the temp job i've been contracted to for three months has decided to advertise the position after 4.5 weeks of my working there. by law, they have to advertise the position externally as well as internally. the temp agency i work through has been contracted to fill the position. when the job description was sent to them yesterday, the operations manager who sent it asked the agency if they thought i would apply (she was keen for me to), and today the service manager (the one who signs off on my pay sheets for the job) asked/told me i was applying for the position, RIGHT?! so i'm applying for the position as a permanent member of staff rather than just temp [:)]

That was how I got my position for the state when I was temping. Loved the job but dealing with being bipolar (was not DXed until 2 years later) and fibromyalgia was a hassle.

I admit I'm not going to be around for a week or so.

I admit it's the first anniversary of my dad's passing in a couple of days and it's been a bit tough.

I admit I'm fine, but using my energy to focus on getting through this difficult time.

I admit that I miss my girl, but I know I'll hear from her later. She is strong in my thoughts today.

I admit that my workplace sometimes drives me bonkers. They ask for favours the same way they call you out for disciplinary action: "I need to talk to you." You never know if you're getting a bonus or a suspension.

I admit that in addition to doing more programming, I just got called out to remotely help run the floor of one of the centres in the States. I think I'm going to be getting nicer paycheques!

I admit it would be nice if they sprung for me to visit the other centres someday, but yeah...not gonna happen. It hasn't in the eight and a half years I've been there. I'm the only person in middle management with over a year of seniority who hasn't done the tour. [8D]

I admit that I should get back to writing a bit more, but I don't know when that will happen if they keep assigning me extra jobs!

I admit that I must now kill the FOM at work.

I admit that this is because she has now gotten the GM and DOS calling me 'soccermom'.

I admit I blame this on Hibbie.

I admit I still love Hibbie anyway, and look forward to some distant time where I can sport pearls with the LBD.


I admit I haz the TIRED, but not the SLEEPY, which totally sucks ass.

I admit I just spent time in my garden (on my balcony) and counted 14 peppers which are successfully growing (didn't count the tiny ones where it isn't sure yet if they will make it, only counted the ones who are as big as my thumb and bigger) [:)]

I admit this makes me happy, as well as my bean which secretely grew already, without my knowledge [:)]

I admit I am going to cook lasagna tomorrow and will harvest my cocktail tomatoes for that [:)]

I admit I hope that Ash's admit means he is out of the war zone for good now [:o]

I admit after I bought stuff for lasagna and another few bits and pieces I was shocked when i got a bill with 44 bucks...
