Haus - I kind of feel the same way re: living alone. I haven't and the the rare times I have been alone have been fraught with anxiety/disaster/inconvenience. I won't go to sleep in a room, if I can't kill a spider I see. And there's the time I didn't drink soda for 2 days because I couldn't unscrew the bottletop! [8|]

I admit that my parents & bestest friend will be here in 2 weeks. I'm getting married in 3 weeks.

I admit this is pretty surreal.

That is too cute! We are cake testing on Friday and Saturday... which I am very excited about. (I heart dessert). I know Ash usually wants cake as well! He will need 1 to celebrate the end of Ramadan in 4 days!

I admit a kid from Australia checked into the hotel tonight. He is here to go to college in Brunswick. His plane was an hour and a half late, so the coach that was supposed to pick him up wasn't there. He doesn't have a cell phone, and for some reason the phone in his room isn't working. His Dad called here (I ended up having to go up to the room and get him, after asking his Dad to call back in 5 minutes). His Dad - in Australia - will be spending time trying to call the coach and arrange to have the kid picked up. I told the kid that if that doesn't work out, I'll drive him down there, myself. I gave him my cell phone number so he could call me if he didn't need a ride.

this is his first time away from home. when his Dad told me that (he had called me back just to say thank you), my latent maternal instincts kicked in LOL I was also told that if I ever get to Melbourne, I was welcome to come stay!

I admit I got a call about 930 from the Australian kid... the coach made arrangements to have someone pick D up, so I wasn't needed to give him a ride. He called me to thank me :)
