Greeds, there's some pop song that's it's a takeoff on, I just heard it for the first time two days ago. [&o] I was pricing tickets to the UK and for entertainments I checked on what first class would look like. I GASPED. Not that I would kick in for that unless I was going to Australia or Asia anyway but DANG. Nowadays flights are PACKED. And dig this bit of oddity: when I got to the airport and dropped off our sister, I found that there was an earlier flight home. No room, but ALSO I was told that 'with my fare" my ticket couldn't be changed. At all. Okayyyyy. It was the fare the AIRLINE offered that day. Was it in some way special? How? And once again---ticket to identical destination, so wtf? Travel Is Mysterious.

Fares are all over the map. Our houseguest buys her tickets a year in advance sometimes. A ticket to the UK will cost me what my entire vacation did, almost!

Back in the day when we were travelling to the islands, we brought food WITH us, if you can imagine it (srsly... we did what we had to!). Think those silver packets of tuna are allowed in carryon luggage?

I admit that some new members make me wonder how they made it out of diapers alive. I admit to hoping that they do NOT procreate, because the level of "WTF???" is mind boggling!! I admit that Teh Cats have now been flea treated. So next week, on my days off, I will be flea-bombing my house. YAY. I admit it's the follow-up to that that is a PITA to me. Vacuum cracks and crevices?? Like I know where they all are? And this whole stashing foodstuffs.. smh I miss a lot of it because the seasoning and spices are part of the landscape, and does it count if they are in a closed cabinet?? GAH!! If I had the funds, I would pay someone else to deal.

I admit I weighed myself this morning for the first time in 2 months and I was so excited to find that I've lost around 70+lbs since I first set out a year ago. I admit it made me super motivated and this morning I pushed myself much harder in my workout than I normally push. I admit my whole body is screaming at me right now. I admit the protein shake I had afterward is now making me a bit nauseous. I admit I want to cry at the thought of still having my ab workout to do later this evening. ... I think i might throw up. edit: oh yeah.. and I really want a cigarette or 6. [sm=sigh.gif]

I just ran through my journal. I have learned that 2008 was an astoundingly bad year in many ways. It had lots of high points too, thank goodness.

I admit I wasn't talking about anyone at all on here or online at all, but real life, face to face people. I admit my allergies are bothering me today and I don't know why. I admit I don't think I have any benadryl left so I might have to buy some on my way to my church group tonight. I admit it will give me an excuse to leave early. [8D]

I admit that my untended project is almost halfway done. I've liberated most of the music, now to convert/mix it to high def and record it... I admit that I did something that made me feel good today, helping my girl. I can't always help but when I do, it's a good feeling. [:)] I admit that I should take some time tonight to continue the course I'm enrolled in. I have things to learn!
