GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 6:21:18 AM)

I admit many thanks to all of you for the prayers for K and her family. She will be gone for at least a week.

I admit I hurt for her.

I admit that I gotta figure out how to let her know so many people are thiknking of her (without revealing from where LOL).

She's on my FB, so I can't say it's that (I'll figure out something...).

I admit I am sending love and hugs as needed to those that want or need such!!

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 8:09:49 AM)

my neighbor is Latino. He has a garden in his front yard. ME, being the idiot that I am, agreed to try one of the peppers he is growing. He *warned*me that it would be hot. I didn't listen. OUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCHOUCH!! I have just downed a 1/2 quart of half and half, ate several slices of bread, ad am now working on ANY KIND of food that is even the least bit absorbant!!! My eyes are tearing like crazy, my mouth hurts, and that slight lip-chapping? omg, I am DYING!! And the dude was laughing like mad as I dashed back to my house to ingest all this stuff (and more foods ahead, I am sure...)

I suspect that I will be regretting this even more, later tonight.

2 words Greeds...................Ice Cream.

That'll give you something to look forward to in the morning.....you can sit on the john yelling C'monnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Ice cream.[8D]

pyschosubmission -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 8:36:16 AM)

I admit I've had to ban myself from the Introductions board as in my current nicotine deprived state I am unable to be "nice"

Hillwilliam -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 8:39:00 AM)

Come on down to PnR then.

onceshattered -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 9:07:50 AM)

I admit I got a first taste...and now I want more. and more than more.

I also admit that this was face to face and NOT online.

...babysteps.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 9:08:20 AM)

I admit that I avoid the intro area myself, Psyco.

I admit YAY for freakin Sears and its Land End dept. I was ble to try on my soon to be raincoat! My normal size, zipped up, looked great. But, since this is not a WARM coat, and I want a loose top layer, I have to go TWO sizes bigger!! Which means I gotta pay more, because that's a "plus" size. Bastages. Can I help having broad shoulders and long arms? Also, yay internet coupons.

I admit I just heard on the radio that there was gunfire in NYC at the Empire State Building. Leaving the USA looks better every day. :/

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 9:18:00 AM)

I admit that Kraft American cheese slices seem to be helping the ungodly burn :) My lips still hurt though.

My Mom suggested lip balm... which would be great if I had anything OTHER than Carmex.

Burny stuff on top of burny stuff? BAD IDEA, Mom!!

Try broad shoulders and short arms. When I try to buy a dress shirt off the rack, the damn sleeves extend all the way past my fingertips.

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 9:57:59 AM)

JEEZ!! I thought I was the only one... what fits across the arms is usually too tight/too loose across the chest. The length is almost without fail WRONG in many dimensions!

and then there's the bra strap issue..

grrrrrrrr

fluffypet67 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 10:02:02 AM)

i admit that i don't worry about bra straps...i haven't worn one in almost 3 years.

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 10:03:54 AM)

I never used to, fluffy... then came the jobs in a corp. environment. *sigh*

of course, I haven't been through the same experiences you have.

(TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, Wench!!! *Hugs and love*)

kitkat105 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 10:11:04 AM)

I admit I also have difficulty with clothes. I did in my thinner days and now I'm on the higher end of regular sizes but some brands it's like I need the plus size. <sigh> I'm doing yoga currently.. and I'm thinking of starting CrossFit in October. I have bought the prep classes on Yelp.

I admit that I've got a few bits of pieces to do in preparation for my BFF getting here tomorrow!

GreedyTop -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 10:30:00 AM)

Kit.. someone suggested to me to try the young adults (i.e.- schoolkids clothing. if the larger sizes don't fit, try the *ahem* "chubby kids" sizes.

loads cheaper and they apparently are more size friendly to those that are on the cusp...

yourdarkdesire -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 10:34:04 AM)

AND they have ridiculously kewl styles!!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/24/2012 10:37:06 AM)

If you are a person with LARGE GIRLS, those junior/kids sized things are not gonna fly, believe me!!

Clothing sizes are a MYSTERY. I rarely wear jeans, because getting them to fit? Nearly impossible! And I refuse to get bespoke JEANS that is just TOO kardashian.

I admit that I stopped at the little yarn shop where I have store credit---and got sock yarns!! One is called "Stiletto", isn't that great? It has a little lurex shimmer.

This is a good point. This is why only some styles of Abercrombie sweaters fit me, because of my boobage getting in the way of the zipping.

Clothes sizing and buying is even more disorientating in the US than Australia. At least back home, if all else failed, I could USUALLY just go to Target and get something to fit!

I have slightly unusual dimensions of 40-33-39 which made a custom wedding dress a necessity!
