Phoenixpower -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 3:43:20 PM)

Thank you Greedy and Lucyfire...

I admit I don't know how the chemo went today as I agreed with mum that she'll
call me once she's feeling ok again as last time she was asleep most of the day as this changed version of chemo is harder for her to handle...

I admit I miss my big cat spicy and learn to come to terms with, to potentially not to see him anymore...it just feels like an awful long time by now...[:(]

I admit I enjoy my evenings in my own bed and am grateful that my shiftwork is coming to an end...

I admit I think I wont be going home to parents anymore this year as it just causes drama with my dad every time anyway and as that drags me down a lot via distance already...its time to better keep the distance and just do the calls with mum...

I admit I found the right fridge-freezer for myself which I'll buy in october...it will be a dark red one[:)]

I admit I also thought at times that Greedy should just take my night pills but I guess they might get stuck at customs...and I dont want to waste them onto those officers[>:]

I admit I'm going to read now another Donald Duck story ("light" reading which doesnt require much attention) and then I'll be off to my country of my dreams[:)]

Good night everyone[:)]

I admit I have no idea what Karmastic
keeps doing to get [AA] all the time, but
am curious why everyone dislikes him.

I also admit I don't have a fave DS9
character because I don't play favourites!
But if I had to deside... probably O'brian
or Worf... just cos they've been around
the block.

For a number of reasons. He puts his foot in his mouth often rather than owning up to it. He tries to spin it. He has portrayed himself as experienced in areas where he isn't and has given advice like he is. He attacks and when proven wrong doesn't apologize. And he tires to put words and emotions into other people's postings based on his own biases.

ie: There was a post where there was a glitch and it appeared he was still on moderation. He posted a scathing post to the Mods, which we could see when the glitch was fixed. The Mod explained and apologized, his only response was "you can delete my post now". Emailing a Mod to ask would have been more appropriate and when it was admitted it was a glitch, he should have apologized for his attack.

Personally, if I had been the Mod, I wouldn't have deleted his posts. I would have left them there as witness.

I admit that I am, as well! [:D] And sorry about your back... my crapped out foot/ankle is acting up, and of course it's travelling up my hip to my back. I have done THINGS to myself trying to do personal adjustments, too. [&o]

Have you ever noticed that when you throw your back out it's never because of something like "I was helping lift a car off of an injured child" or "I was crawling in a hole to save a stranded puppy". It's always something like "I was picking up a penny" or in my case "I was pulling my hair out from under my bra strap."

Everyone thinks I'm kidding and is sure that it's from having my face pounded into the mattress, when really it was nothing nearly as fun.

That's because a muscular injury such as 'throwing' a back out is 80% of the time an accumulation of micro trauma. It's hardly ever related to the act that seemed to bring the injury on, it's from all the times you had poor posture or reached for something and tweaked a muscle, or slumped in your chair, or lifted something up incorrectly, etc etc etc. So it's how you move each day and what you do that finally accumulates in a culminating event. Lots of little things pile up into a big thing. Learned that in school. Its not as mysterious if you understand that principle. [;)]

The, ahem, mattress pounding might indeed be accumulating some micro trauma [:D]

I'd like to add that he never seems to learn anything. He's had the opportunity to avail himself of learning opportunities by simply reading what is posted on threads, but insists on keeping up with his ignorant attitudes in the face of being told continually that he's got it wrong. Much like Mr. Pony Boy. It's tiring.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:22:37 PM)

I've had him on hide for quite awhile. People who live for being offended bore me. And we all know that's a cardinal sin![;)]

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:29:01 PM)

I admit that I bought me a bicycle. One of those old style bikes with the big wide seat (for MY big wide seat) and a basket in front.

I admit that I only managed to ride it 2 blocks and had to walk it the last two houses away from my driveway :(

I admit that I remember it being easier to ride a bike!

I admit that I'm looking forward to trying it again tomorrow, and working my way up to 3 blocks :)

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:29:47 PM)

Hot diggity! Yay for WinD!

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:32:32 PM)

I admit that I'm ridiculously excited about my new bike.
I admit that I just HAD to show it off.

It's actually a vertebrae that I cracked in an injury several years ago. I have taken the curve out of my neck, so the muscles are always trying to pull it back in (a la whip lash injuries). The mattress pounding would have been much more fun.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:40:29 PM)

It's gorgeous!! I wants one!!

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:47:21 PM)

I admit LadyH should get one and come ride with me. Although, long drive - SHORT bike ride LOL.
I admit my town has miles and miles of beautiful bike trails that wind along the river - and some day I'm going to be riding on them!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:49:12 PM)

Many miles of trails here too! Though I intend to walk paint creek trail. As soon as it stops being HOT. Blech!

So, out of that whole thing you get "I'm NOT invincible?" and completely bypass the mattress pounding? I'm hurt......

ARIES83 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 4:57:36 PM)

I admit thats a mighty fine looking bike,
and I wanna show off mine now, but this

I... um... err... *sad face*

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 5:06:20 PM)

I admit Aries should upload to facebook and grab the photo of his bike from there so he can share with us :)

I admit that a trip to the Detroit area for a bike ride and evening play party with Hibbie sounds like a good idea.

OsideGirl -> RE: I Admit It I........ (8/27/2012 5:10:58 PM)
