Please refrain from posting about a moderator action. If you have any questions or comments you may contact me on what I have done or VideoAdminAlpha.

Thank you

I think that everyone would like some clarification on THIS ^^.

So, mods never explain, and site users don't get to complain? I don't think that constitutes POLICY.

i admit i am going to comment on the moderation here in open view. the reason being that while it's fine that you have removed posts in connection to one item, i think it's pretty poor form to remove entire posts by users when certain sections don't even have anything to do with what you are removing.

i personally had written things in my post that are meant for other people directly, or were about what is going on in my life. why remove it ask?

i'm sure i'm not the only one who is wondering this, or finds it frustrating that we then have to either rewrite these things....hence kitkat's post above if i understand her correctly......or just thing fuck it and not bother. we all know you can remove sections of a post, so why not do that?

i've asked the question in the open as i'm sure there are others who would like an answer too. i'm thinking an open answer will save you time in multiple replies if others ask, or just stop people being frustrated at the blanket deletion.

If I can step in for a sec......
we do not edit posts.if we started doing that, can you not see in advance tuhe speculation on what was removed and how that puts us in an editorial position we do not want to be in? The safe thing to do is not to quote our reply to a post you feel will be pulled, or to word your reply to the topic and not any post you have a question about

I admit I am waiting for a client to come pick up some paperwork and give me a check so I can go to VERIZON DANGIT because my replacement phone came and I want to get it set up. NOW!!! Though my knitting is in my purse so I can do stuff while I wait.

I admit that I am baffled by people who ask for opinions then get butthurt when they don't get VALIDATION. If you want to have everyone agree with you, just say that up front. Probably someone will listen and pat-pat-pat.

maybe they're more interested in fap-fap-fap than pat-pat-pat.

We've heard that before, "just don't quote if you think it will be pulled".

This requires users to be PSYCHIC, Alpha. And really, isn't that expecting a lot in the random stupidity section, NOT a zone where posts are traditionally pulled?

i can see how that works regarding particular threads, but in here it's pretty much easy to see the separate stuff. and posts do get sections deleted, for instance where emails, or numbers have been put in. so a little note, where the stuff relating to a pulled post was, to state it was moderated for that reson would be sufice.

also, where mistakes are made on moderation, such as this was, it's actually not that bad to leave what was actually written. an appology on the mods part would go along way too. at least other people get to see what was going on, and the outcome, instead of little snippets.

kitkat105 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (9/19/2012 2:21:33 PM)

I admit I loved the X Files. 10 year old Kat had very perverse thoughts about Agent Mulder.. including growing up to marry him.

Oh Jesus... "10 year old Kat". Now I feel very old.

tiggerspoohbear -> RE: I Admit It I........ (9/19/2012 2:46:19 PM)

I admit I saw my unpaid "paid friend" today and she wishes we had met away from work. She thinks I'm cool! [:)]

I admit she also loves TBBT and the episode I posted, where Sheldon is in the big ball pit is one of her favorites.

I admit she's going to ask her husband if he knows any single men. I love going to see her.

I admit I got chocolate croissants again today at the grocery store, and bought some Cinnamon Corn Pops, hoping I'll like them. Along with 2 loaves of their delicious cinnamon-raisin bread.

We're not that small a city, but still don't have self-checkout lanes. I wish we did, but at least I can go do groceries any time I want, just have to figure out when the best time is to go. I don't do well in line-ups.

I admit I'm one of the polite people who'll let someone ahead of me if they have a lot less items. But I have yet to have someone return the favor. O well, such is life.

Lucifyre -> RE: I Admit It I........ (9/19/2012 3:49:39 PM)

I admit I really snapped at my roomate today.
I admit he really pissed me off because this 39 year old man was arguing with my 10 year old over something really stupid (a pair of shoes) and it got on my fucking nerves extra because I've asked him repeatedly NOT to do that.
I admit that I have told him if he has an issue with my kid it is not HIS FUCKING JOB to correct him, he needs to bring the problem to me out of earshot of the kid so I can do my job as a parent instead of trying to break up a stupid argument that shouldn't be happening in the first place.
I admit he doesn't have the kind of relationship with me or Mr OR my kid to even consider having permission to tell him what to do.
I admit when I tell him it's not his job and his answer is always "well then do yours" it makes me want to do very bad things to his head with both blunt and sharp objects.
I admit he isn't even raising his own fucking kids (they refuse to even speak to him) and that IMO gives him even less of a right to an opinion with mine.
I admit he barely takes care of the dog he brought with him that he didn't tell me about before he moved in.

I admit I am going to go paint and work off some of this extra crispy bitchy I am feeling right about now.

grr, I admit I could really use a phone call from a certain someone tonight.

I admit this morning was my first attempt
to combine bike riding and dog walking...
It was successful, in that I didn't end up in
the hospital or vet or both! But we need
practice... That's for dam sure.
