i admit it, I- made my first homemade sugar scrub today. Cinnamon scented.

I started this as a project with a friend of mine, trying to find a way to have nice things without having to pay 'fine' prices.

also i am sitting here in front of an open window cold air blowing and me soaked from my shower- and i am warm.

I don't want to find out! I've read that yellow jackets sting are more potent and can cause many more problems. So following the bee removal folks' instructions, I'm closing the door of the bedroom (since I believe they are coming in thru the attic eave), putting a towel under the door to keep them inside, and I'll get the pest control folks here tomorrow afternoon if all goes well.

Shit. It's gonna be expensive....I can tell already....

I am a coupon & sale gal, not a homemade-er...got my scrubs two for one on sale! Ulta has a lot of stuff, and lemon is NOT easy to find. It has to smell LEMONY! Not sweet.

apparently...not. I can only imagine that if I moved to Alaska..I'd probably be the house on the "block" that seemed to attract all of the bears, moose and whatever else you wouldn't want to encounter...

I went online to several websites that all said that same thing: if you have yellow jackets appearing inside your house...get a professional to remove them.

I'm SO not happy about this.

Seriously, Haus, they are SO fierce, you need a professional to remove them and kill the hive AND see about tracking the entrance. Ordinary bees are bad enough.

And I am also cool with bears, moose, etc, if only to distract them long enough for us to RUN AWAYYYYY
