I admit that I got up at 4am this morning and am falling back asleep. Mom has her friend's funeral this morning and I caught her on the computer at 2:30 this morning (I was in pain and had to take some tramadol).

I admit that I brought the latest book by Bertrice Small. Just waiting for it to get here so Mom and I can fight over it...LOL!

I admit that I am still waiting for my Other Bible book. I blame Bo for making me get this one because he mentioned some trivia on FB and being naturally curious, had to get it.

I admit that I finally got a response from the Canadian representative for the Palestinian government regarding citizenship and emigration for Ash:

Immigration to Canada doesn't affect citizenship. If accepted for immigration to Canada and once arrived in Canada, a person can keep its citizenship as long as they want.

It's only when the person applies for Canadian citizenship - usually after three years of residence in Canada as an immigrant - that the issue of double citizenship will arise. On the Canadian side, Canada recognizes double citizenship which means that the person can keep its first citizenship. Or in other words, the person is not required to relinquish its first citizenship in order to become Canadian.

However, on the side of the first citizenship, the laws vary from country to country. Many countries do not recognize double citizenship which means that if a person acquire a new citizenship, they will loose their original citizenship. Regarding Palestine, we don't know exactly what are the laws regarding citizenship. Your friends should consult with the Palestinian Authority - Passport office - on that matter.

Remember that becoming a Canadian citizen is a choice, not an obligation, so a person can keep its first citizenship as long as he/she wants and continue to be a permanent resident of Canada all along.

I used Canada as the example to get you the answer faster, Ash, but it would apply equally to the USA. Apparently I would have to get a hold of the Passport Office directly, to get a direct answer (and to be blunt I would not expect one). If you want, I will ferret out the number for the office and call them. I can't promise they will understand what I'm saying, but one can hope. o_O Let me know, please.

I admit that it's not the most helpful answer in the world, but at least it's a response from a government representative, and sadly, it says more than anything I could find on Google written in English.

I admit that it is TUESDAY.

I admit that I ordered my raincoat, 40% off! Why there was a Landsend sale on the internet, but not in the Sears stores is a MYSTERY, but there you go. Free shipping, so I still WIN. I haven't had a waterproof raincoat in years, and I have missed it. I've been wearing my leather jacket for the rain and it's not the same.

I admit it's another gorgeously sunny day.

Make sure you get the SUPER Sculpey and bake it in a well ventilated area.

Also, Googlefu is your friend. Lots of good forums, tips and tricks for use with the product.

A cheap pasta machine is your friend.

It's a motorcycley jacket, too, Aries!! And I have used sculpey, fimo, alla that stuff. The product has advanced a lot since then, and there is MUCH to be found out there. You can google Kathleen Dustin and Tory Hughes and Jamey Allen and City Zen Cane if you want to be startled.

I admit RemoteUser is awesome. I would be very happy if Ash could get somewhere like Canada. Thinking about you (Ash) everyday, praying and hoping you're okay.

I admit 2 lots of aerial (Sun & Mon) kicked my ass. I woke up feeling at least double if not triple my age. Had some gentle yoga this morning and am looking forward to some therapeutic this afternoon.

I admit I've got to assist a police Detective back home with an investigation. It's going to drudge up a lot of memories and I honestly don't even know where or how to start. I've got to do it via email first and then he will be making arrangements via Interpol to obtain my verbal statement through local police here.

I admit that The Other Bible came in today from Australia and I am so happy! Mom was curious about it and looked it over. Now she knows that there are other books to the bible and this book has the Dead Sea Scrolls and other books and psalms.

That is why I now ask for sitting fees at the time they book.

The other day, an extended family member, that has NEVER been pleasant towards me, had a fit because I wouldn't give her digital files for free. The bitch is an optometrist married to a computer programmer. They spend money like there is no tomorrow and she was mad that she would have to pay $ 130.00 for photos I took of her kids. She was trying to be sneaky and I didn't let her get away with it. Hense the tude. If I wore glasses I would have suggested a free example and glasses in trade.....that would have gone over like a lead zeplin.
