I admit happy thoughts for Hill. I admit that my son's report card came in yesterday, and for the first time, they didn't mark him down for needing improvement in any category. That's a HUGE thing for him. Up to this point they've made comments about his autism and docked him for "not listening" or "not socializing well" (really?? - he has Asperger's and advanced ADHD...all things considered, he does amazingly well). Seeing that makes me feel like they are finally understanding him, and accepting him as part of the group. He needs that from teachers as much as he does from schoolmates, if not more, so that makes me very happy indeed. I admit that it's going to be chilly tonight when I take him out trick or treating. I think we'll keep it to an hour, two at the very most. I admit that my girl is probably awake and organizing her day by now. I expect to hear from her soon, and then perhaps she and I can make some plans (school work permitting).
