On the subject of pirates and though this was a few weeks back, Gordon Brown came out with a gem when asked about the Chandlers. "I believe those holding the Chandlers should respect international law".

Hmmm. How to be a pirate, whilst respecting international law...... I guess the solution is to make the international law and be its arbiter.

Did he also caution the U.S. to do the same with those whom they are holding hostage?

H.

I should have thought the way I left my comment said it all?

Yesterdays terrorists are todays freedom fighters...

Only if they win. The pirates haven't won yet, ergo, they're fucking pirates.

Far better to curse the darkness than light a ...blah blah blah

Perhaps you misunderstood.  I am all for lighting their ships up.  With a bomb.  Or those rocket things.  Or even a sub with a great big hook on the top that could just drag their boats under the water.

Everyone has baggage. The question is whether or not it fits in the overhead bin. Also, you need to be able to leave it at the hotel when you go out for dinner.
