hello everyone,
A recent post on the "Female Gorean Masters" thread prompted me to ask about something that's been floating around in my head for around a week. I recently re-read Marauders, and saw a passage about Tarl finally recognising and accepting that he was Gorean in the way he saw the world. I got thinking on a concept on that passage; the "united Gorean will". I got wondering what it actually is.
In my (currently) limited understanding, it is a state where a person is not divided between who they are, and society's expectations of them, their sex and society's expectations for their sex, nor any other divide that keeps a person from fully living their life. Does it also encompass community, in that people unite through striving for this common goal?.
I truly hope this makes sense (it is a very hard thing for me to try and articulate from thought).
