After reading his profile and the context it was written in, I would venture to say that FW in this case stands for his nick "FyreWolfe". And FW steel stands for an implied online collar with name tag like for instance dina{FW} dina{FireWolfe}, just like the B in my nick stands for "Bull" (because just plain ishy was taken).

Status: offline 		tho am new to the forum am not new to the lifestyle and hopes no one objects to my answering this.

Over the years i have heard many times this very question and knowing both sides of the coin BDSM/Gor including having at 1 time having had slaves in kolar both online and in RT(and yes I know my profile is slave but it is something in me I need to know) here are my thoughts

1- a gor slave is different from a bdsm sub in the way that a sub has alot of control over the scene, where a gor slave gives up 100% total control and are their Master/Mistress property 1st and foremost. Tho the sub may claim to totally belong to their Dominant they dont truly for no submissive belongs to their Dom/Domme as a goren slave belongs to their Owner

2- The slaves very existence in everyway is devoted to the obedience of their Owner and a true Gor slave would rather die than bring the slightest displeasure the the One they serve. This is not to say that subs are not devoted but i truly believe that the level of trust for a slave to their Master/Mistress is on a level way above any other form of relationship due to the fact where a sub has limits a slaves limits are what their Owner allows them to be.

If you want a good book to read that i felt showed this more than any other then "kajira of gor" or "slavegirl of gor" would be the most educational on this point tho as it has been said above to read all the books is the best idea and if you are a slave you will know it in your heart and soul
